You can either take this vitamin daily or at the first sign of a sore start taking about 4000-5000 mg the first dose and then continue taking 1000mg every couple of hours throughout the day and end it off with another 4000-5000 dose before bed. Repeat the same thing the next day, large doses morning and night and take continuously throughout the day. I also suggest working out. Sounds silly, but sweating out the toxin's really helps. I get them hereditary as well -___- I have been taking valacyclovir pills from the doctor (once a day) and haven't gotten a cold sore for 5 months until this weekend when I shared a drink with someone who has previously had a cold sore. never share drinks!! its day 2 for my cold sore and its already at its worst, its huge and gross and bubbly :( When I get cold sores I take 4 pills twice a day of valacyclovir to speed up the process. I also use oil of oregano, and hydrogen peroxcide.
Ok, well what I do is buy a little tube of Campho Phenique and one of abreva, campho is clear so I wear that if I have to go somewhere, abreva is white but works better and faster, so I wear that while I am at home. It will cost less than 10$ and its totally worth it, it cleared up mine in a few days while usually mine would last a couple of weeks, you can get it at any store practally. just keep putting it on all through out the day and it should clear it right up pretty fast :) Good luck!!!

When not visible it just means it is dormant at the moment, not that you can not be transmitting it to another so if you have it which most people do. craziness. first of all u don't need to do all of that. i found a product called kisu (means kiss in japanese i think). it is all natural and addresses the virus and the immune system. here is my recommendation - go online and order it (you can order more than one pack if you want). it is around 15 bucks but well worth it. i take it when i am run down or stressed (which is when i get them), or i take it when i feel the tingle. if you do that, u don't have to go through the regimen.

professional nail polish 100% pure acetone, not the cheap nail polish remover. Hold it there for 20 minutes, or until it doesn't hurt anymore. Dries it up immediatley. If thats too harsh, use mouth tonic, found in Nature stores. Good luck, cold sores suck!

One word... LYSINE! You can either take this vitamin daily or at the first sign of a sore start taking about 4000-5000 mg the first dose and then continue taking 1000mg every couple of hours throughout the day and end it off with another 4000-5000 dose before bed. Repeat the same thing the next day, large doses morning and night and take continuously throughout the day. I also suggest working out. Sounds silly, but sweating out the toxin's really helps. I swear it'll be gone in a day or two tops

I get them hereditary as well -___- I have been taking valacyclovir pills from the doctor (once a day) and haven't gotten a cold sore for 5 months until this weekend when I shared a drink with someone who has previously had a cold sore. never share drinks!! its day 2 for my cold sore and its already at its worst, its huge and gross and bubbly :( When I get cold sores I take 4 pills twice a day of valacyclovir to speed up the process. I also use oil of oregano, and hydrogen peroxcide.

Ok, well what I do is buy a little tube of Campho Phenique and one of abreva, campho is clear so I wear that if I have to go somewhere, abreva is white but works better and faster, so I wear that while I am at home. It will cost less than 10$ and its totally worth it, it cleared up mine in a few days while usually mine would last a couple of weeks, you can get it at any store practally. just keep putting it on all through out the day and it should clear it right up pretty fast :) Good luck!!!
