man, why do they have to screw with things? That set should be treated as a historic landmark. Sorry. Backlots are pretty pointless now anyway. How sad, and all for some stupid show. Thanks for posting though.

actually it is Gigawatts, GW for short hand, So Jtwarlock was close. It stands for 1 billion watts. so Watts, Kilowatts, Megawatts, Gigawatts and so forth. Similar in premise to Bytes on a computer HDD. KB MB GB TB..... Etc.

@jonharris69 It is pronounced Jiggawatts in the film though because Robert zemeckis and Bob gale went to a seminar on science and the proffesor there pronounced it that way, they found it funny so they added it in. But I'll always call it a Jiggawatt!!

The courthouse didn't burn. The buildings around Courthouse Square did, but the clock tower did not.
