i havve beaten him too, good job! the prize is hold 2 and press a on continue before the warning page that is before the start of the game and let go of 2 after you press a to select the character and then let go of 2 when the wriststrap or warning or whatever it is then at the start of the game, TA-DA you have Mike's purple sword and double armor. If you already know the tip, then use it wisely......

Here's is the REAL key to beat him.

It's not just about blocking and hitting him.

1: Follow his sword exactly so you are ready to block.

2: When he is dizzy from your block, hit him at the angle his sword turns (For example if he has his sword horizontally then hit horizontally)

If you ask me Matt is the easiest of the ones above Pro level

1 After you beat Matt you can get his sword by holding 1 before the screen goes black.
