indurain was a totally differnt sort of rider...

indurain could win tours...where as cancellara can ride well on cobles...but just as there are natural climbers there are natural TT's also..fabian is more an all arounder compared to indurain and is also more competitive longer in the season..if he puts his mind to it in any race he wins the prolouge..indurain road races leading to the tour..but he was not in any real fitness till he hit TDF see the differnce?

thats true..lemond i think went through with that sort of thinking first...it was always logical the freasher you are going into a 3 week race the better...indiran masterd this..but he also won 2 giros out of the deal...all i can say i i love my sport and id like to see thier faces more than once a year...where i live they dont cover the classic races..so between buying the dvd or youtube or webistes thats about what i get.

on the flats im sure he is running around 34 mph up to 38...down hill not sure...most tts are not hilly events...fabian is a large man...if there was a TT with a mountian he would do very poorly...fabian is a power rider..he can mash huge gears and stay on top of them..i love seeing him at the end of the video how he just rides past the best sprinters in the world and steals thier stage...fabian has become one of my favorite riders
