they dont have to make a touch and go they have to make a go around at east midlands

You have to do "touch & goes" with a minimum of 6 being required to sign off on a type rating course done so as to ensure the student can land the aircraft. 6 Go-arounds do not count and at East Midlands they DO touch & goes. Regards

@Aviationnation10 Thats true, but he that's not the main purpose of doing these touch and goes, the main purpose is to get the 6 landings and takeoffs required for the type-rating done as cost efficiant and quickly as possibly. The rest, such as go-around and QRH procedures are practised in a FFS!
