If given a fair trial and found guilty then yes, if the Judge decides to punish her in that way. It is their law and you must respect that. You are a guest in that country. You have no right to walk into somebody elses country and start breaking laws without expecting to be punished.

Considering the draconian measures the labour party has enforced in the UK, I am not surprised by that statement, I'm sure if Labour had their way our own legal system would work in much the same way as the one in Laos.
Tell me, is your channel the official Labour Party channel and is this decision also the official one on this case?

Laos is a member of the United Nations and has signed the United Nations statue on Human Rights and has a duty to uphold them, now the only countries that have really upheld them are countries in Europe but they should uphold them and the UN has the right and the duty to uphold sanctions for what is clearly a long term serious brech of Human Rights.

When I was in Laos I stayed at a hotel and the people whom were staying beside me were from Kenya (Africa). The people of Laos are very enclosed as well, they're the type of people who will stare you down if they see someone of not of they're own kind.
