In '84 My dad had a 74 challenger with a 340 bord .90 over, 3 speed fairbanks trans, runnin 789hp and 860ft/lbs wheelie bar, parachute and a 4x4 carb with tunnel ram poppin out about 8 inches and he was able to drive it here in Indiana, but of course now the way dumbasses are driving they band all stupid street racin', back in the day here you could run around the streets and cops didnt fuck with ya like they do now. Ah...well the laws between Sweden and the U.S. must be really different cause the wheelie bars on the back here are illegal on the street and yes 99minerkc the engine does have to idle that fast or it will stall from how big the cam is.

I'm 100% sure this was street-legal when it had the 1150 hp engine as seen in "Pontiac GTO damn it's fast" to the right in related clips. Because it was the fastest street-legal car in sweden at the time. But with this 2000 hp engine I'm not sure. I mean, everything in the car is the same from when it was street-legal except the engine. Click in "Pontiac GTO damn it's fast" to the right and see how fast it was when I'm sure it was STREET-LEGAL..

I can tell ya right now that wheel bars, parachutes, and blowers sticking a foot and a half out of your hood are all extremely illegal and will get your car impounded as soon as you pass a cop. Not true. It has been registered and inspected in Sweden and driven thousands of miles in Sweden...the guy did not even have a trailer earlier on..the street engine is an all aluminum 572 Merlin with a 14-71 Kuhl supercharger. 2000hp is probably with racing gas and i'm guess it's a little bit under 1350hp with pump gas, so if ur using it on the streets, technically it'd b legal.... idk, just a guess

no there is no limit on hp for street, its all about the tires, lights, seat belts, and drive train. you dont have to run pump gas on the street.
