i like your movie, and i like gerorges perec. how did you discover him, what essay was it that inspired you? check out his biography by david bellos.

Hi Kurt - thanks for the support and friendly comments. The Perec essay that ended up informing a large part of the script was "Thoughts on the Art and Technique of Crossing Words." I'll be sure to look up Bellos' book soon.

hi animavisual. if you do decide to get the bellos book, it makes mention of perec's contribution (which he dearly loved) of the crossword puzzles in a major parisian newspaper, although i'm not sure if that was a daily contribution or the sunday edition only. poor georges, he left us so early and with so much more to say.
