  • Dang, HgOuTitar... ok here's what I do. Pound on it with my fist about a hundred times. Then dunk it in boiling water for 10 minutes. Take it out, spray with acid. Get your shotgun, empty a box or two of .12ga buckshot into it. Shout degrading insults until it starts to cry. Have it photographed in public wearing only ladies undergarments. Put photos on internet. Spread embarrassing rumors to other gloves about it's tiny laces.

Ok, it should be good to go.

  • @jbnewberry9691 i tthought you were serious until the shotgun part lol

  • heart of the hide for the win!

  • what glove model is this ?

  • Probably the best video on breaking in a glove I've seen. Very informative.

  • what type of glove is that do they make it in modified trapeze

  • @gfedell thats an a2kand yes they make it in a modified trap in 11 3/4 inches

  • Thanks helps a lot

  • I am a person who dunks it in water..let it soak in the water for a few minutes, and when you take it out put a ball in the pocket and then put either clamps or rubber bands around it. Once that is done let it sit for a couple of days. Once you take off the clamps it will feel very stiff, but a great pocket is formed as a result of the water. Then be kind of rough with the glove and loosen it up the the how you like it and your set!

  • @HgOuTitar Thats not good for leather

  • @TheBaseballrocks23 my glove has lasted 6 years goin on 7 and the leather is fine sooo.....

  • no oil!! sure it will break in faster but it will become flimsy a whole lot quicker.. then you will need to buy a new one. people at the store dont tell you that. and any pro player will tell you that they dont use oils.

  • to all the people who are asking about baby oil. never do that. baby oil makes it really heavy. i mean, it works. but unless u want your glove to weigh 5 pounds, i wouldnt recommend using that. just buy the baseball glove oils out there for like 5 bucks

  • baby6 oil is fine

  • one of m gloves has a fold in the very middle.. i have a new glove, can i use baby oil on it? can someone help?

  • @talentedemo21 i wouldnt

  • what if i use baby oil? what'll happen?

  • why didn't they teach me this in t ball?

  • @hackingtime88 lol you’re too young to comprehend it in t ball

  • Lexol can be found at autoparts stores. Great stuff.

  • where is this store

  • @sharpshoter630 yeah i have a easton natural elite the cathers glove does not have to full shut only so that it can hold the ball i broke it in, in a day just play and pound it

  • where is your store located????

    plz respond

  • @JayZandRhianna

We are in Smyrna, GA 30080.

  • Is alastic bands ok to put around the glove?

  • @Naxxlax yea i got mine for $100

  • Mizuno is the best

  • wilson a2k

  • As an infeilder i love my rawlings

  • i need a new glove and i'm debating on the Rawlings pro preferred bergundy and tan one or the Evan Longoria A2000. they are both 11 3/4. Reply to this because i need some other perspectives on this. I also play SS/3B if that makes any difference and i'm 15

  • @RWDSJ pro preferred

  • Thank u guys very much helped a lot. Ppl try this trick work out for me good. Put shaving cream in the desired spots and microwave it for 45 secs. to 1 min. works great.

  • as a infielder i like my wilson a2000 11 3/4

  • I try to work it in to the thumb and the pinky fingers meet up. This way when you go for a ground ball (if your mi infeild like me) you will have more room and a bigger pocket to catch the ball. Also if you wanna work it in nice just use the damb glove! I use a easton professional 11. 3/4 and i like it!

  • @CameronVsCam is it the eastin i-pro?

  • As an outfielder i love my Nokona

  • i like to my glove with foam stuff (dont know what its called) then i hit it with a hammer and put a baseball inside it and wrao it up with a rubber ban inside a bag and put it under my bed for 2 or 3 weeks.

  • I got a Wilson A1000 for shortstop

  • Is vaseline good for breaking in a glove!?

  • my cousin just bought a Rawlings 12 3/4 HOH gold glove series and it was like $235 new, baught it black and went and got red laces put in it, trust me you wont see it around. took us a long time to break it in tough as glove

  • Comment removed

  • i would go with a Nokona they are pricey but they wont let you down, when i play 2nd i use a Nokona amg1200 12in, and if they play me and 1st i use a Nokona 12.5 bloodline, real nice gloves, but if you want one that arent that expensive and are playing infield i like the Wilson A2000 1796-B 11.75in

  • get the a2k

    def. better

  • i also was looking at a wilson A1K

  • easton sux get rawlings or wilson

  • i am saving for a easton pro series

  • just bought a new wilson a200, i wanna know the best way to break it in. any good techniques

  • @rwoodbaseball46 i had had a lot of gloves, the best way is just to play catch with it, also you can use saving cream(make sure its foam) Best way just play catch.

  • @Ladodgersbaseballsta how long should u put the shaving cream on it for?

  • just bought a Rawling Heart of the hide outfielders mit and it feels amazing. Working on oiling and wrapping thenim going into just straight up working it out.

  • Nokona bloodline $250 dollars

  • a2k or a2000?

  • a2k

  • Just got the nokona proline 12 inch glove for 189.99 So sick can't wait til i get it Brocken in. It does seem like it might a little to break in but very good looking glove and worth the money.

  • what about the oven meathod

  • i bought a A2K and a nike diomand eliete.

there both really good, the nike is just as good for like 150 dollars cheaper.

  • i got a rawlings gold glove and it rocks. i paid $200.00

  • 200 is heart of the hide not gold glove. Gold glove model is 89.

  • @JJHof159 there is many gold glove models that cost way more than a hundred dollars dip shit. mine is just 200 like i said. i think i no what kind of glove i got dumbass. so check ur facts.

  • Hope you like getting ripped off. Enjoy your glove! =)

  • @gde03 nahh bro. there is no gold glove model worth $200. u got ripped off man. tht blows.

  • @SonnyFB42 ARE U FUCKING STUPID? ANY DECENT GLOVE IS OVER 100 DOLLARS, MY GLOVE IS 200 DOLLARS.

Mizuno Classic PRO X Series SEARCH IT UP DIPSHIT

  • @blowmykehawkyo dont take this the wrong way but who the hell spends $ on a glove that you'll probably only use for one season. Im not saying walmart gloves are good but go to Dickssporinggoods or sports authority

  • Obviously you dont know real baseball players. . .we have spring season, usually one or two summer seasons, and a fall season as well. . i remember when I was in full swing, I only got a 2 week break off from ball before going into winter training. . .

  • just got the classic pro "xx" how do you like it?

  • thts sick mizuno pro are beast which model did u get

  • @cd123ism the classic pro xx model number GCP60XX (LH)

  • @blowmykehawkyo first of all go fuck urself. secondly i wasnt even speaking to u so mind ur own fuckin business. n i never said anything about ur glove. n there are no Rawlings Gold Glove models worth $200 so u can eat me. now u can take ur shit Mizuno glove n shove it directly up ur ass.

  • @SonnyFB42 i mean no disrespect, but technically the Rawlings Heart of The Hide gloves are part of the "gold glove series" it has a patch right on the glove. My glove says it and i have a heart of the hide 34" catchers mitt

  • @fitzmuffin711 yea but it says the gold glove company not gold glove series. i have one also. which glove do u have?

  • @fitzmuffin711 is the pro preffered part of the gold glove series ?????

  • they came out with a pro preffered and a hoh gold glove

  • there like 80

  • @gde03 Ya bro Rawlings are the best

  • does anybody know if putting a baseball glove in the oven is good

  • its bad! dnt do it. it dries out the leather

  • i got a glovesmith 2151L, its a really durable. 100% hard leather inside and out. I only paid 89.99 for it. like casey55 said dont spend 200 dollars on a a2k..all a2k is a name made famous by players like david wright..

  • A faster, easier break-in is to use Tanners Heat Treat. Watch the YouTube how-to video for Tanners Heat Treat.

  • the best way to break in a glove is just go play catch.

  • instead of wrapping with rubber band can i use a baseball belt

  • yes

  • I have an easton stealth tourney baseball glove and it fucken kicks ass, it has a great pocket, its easy to close but its still firm. Igot it for 50 bucks, dont spend 200 dollars on an a2k when you can get a glve like this. it is bamf, one again it is the easton stealth tourney

  • hey where can i get one in trinidad?

  • i got the nike diamond elite...is that good??

  • igot a japanese bseball glove for $500 from a company called dynazett and it probably got the nices looking gloves i have ever seen.

  • i just got a mizuno gcp 10x

  • Im trying to decide if i should get an a2k or not because i dont want a floppy piece of shit thats already broken in when i get it. Is the a2k really soft and broken in when you first get it?? Somebody help

  • no the a2k's are very firm and stay that way for a very long time the fingers dont usualy bend back or get floppy its a very good glove i hope that helps

  • no its actually pretty firm. its really nice i love mine

  • im getting a a2000 cant afford a a2k

  • they r like the same i have an a2k and ive tried on a few a2000s and i dont see to much of a difference

  • how can i deepen the pocket on my glove? i need to get it deeper

  • put a ball in it when not in use

  • the a2k 1786 11.5 model is the best glove ever

  • Mizuno is awesome!

  • what was the size of that a2k

  • man that mizuno is the sickest cathers mitt ever i want it so bad

  • i bought my glove last summer it just got "broked-in"..

  • what the hell was that neon colored catcher's mitt? lol

  • night ball for the pitcher to see better..

  • I WANT THAT GLOVE SO BAD!!!!!

  • it's all about the rawlings Primo 11.5" modified trap. Prettiest glove around that will last for decades!! well worth the money!!!

  • Nice tutorial good info.

  • Any suggestions on a glove for 3rd base and pitcher that is under $100 and will break in quickly with an easy to shape pocket? I liked the gold glove GGNP5B when I tried it on, but thought a glove such as the sandlot was much too flexible. Thanks for any help!

  • Rawing pro perffed

  • get the wilson a2000 g4bg i have i love it

  • im wondering what new glove i should get any suggestions for a 3rd baseman

  • kelly black series 11.75 modified trap

  • I a going to get rawling sandlot glove

  • i just bought a Rawlings Pro mesh!!! :D

I love it so far. I just need to break it in. :D

  • rawlings heart of the hide gloves are hella nice,

padding sucks balls but the leather is soooooooo nice, its worth buying

  • Yeah, the pocket doesn't have much padding on my Pro Preferred HoH Gold Glove. Big pocket though for infield and really nice leather. Just bought and as infielder im only braking in the pocket and getting it big, no oil anything I just want it to stay kind of hard, 60% broken in, for quick release

  • i just got yesterday wilson A2K pudge and im goin 2 just bake it like my last glove and baking works fast and it still lasts

  • get a mizuno power close

mines 10 years old and so perfect

    the buttersoft is still together

  • Any suggestions..for an ambidextrous Glove? We just received our custom glove from Japan (mizuno) it looks exactly like Pat vendittes glove. We are using mink oil....very helpful on where to place oil. Also we are forming under the mattress.....thanks Danny

  • just got to the batting cage and catch the pitches for about 15 minutes

  • you put it on your hand and rub it around

  • just bake it

  • wtf dumb shit thats the most retarted thing to do...

  • how would u apply the oil?

  • personally, im not a fan of mizuno's, wilson A2000 or rawlings heart of the hide is where its at

  • im going to put water on it

  • i recommend mizuno. a great glove for the price and i broke it in in about 6 hours easy. you might have to really work at it though. and also get some wilson premium glove oil. helps out a lot and is only about 2 bucks. great infeild glove.

  • do mizunos come broken in somewat cause my mizuno catchers was easy to squeze the second i got it??

  • yeah. not completely. but it is one that you can actually use right out of the store. but id still recommend putting oil on, and naturaly break it in a little. other than that, yes.

  • no. you still have to. you get for what you pay for. mizunos catcher gloves are the best i think. for confert and ability. i love my mizunos glove..

  • which mizuno glove did you get... cuz i need a new infield glove and i was thinkin of gettin a Mizuno MVP Prime GMVP1125..

  • A Rawlings Gold glove or pro preffered glove are good infield gloves.

  • what about heart of hides man, they are so nice

  • get it , amazing ss glove

  • Wilson is the best in my opinion

  • instead of using rubberbands around a glove is a belt okay?

  • i prefer belts to be honest more control of how tight you get it

  • I bought my brother a rawlings trapeze glove almost 2 years ago. First of all I recomend the heart of the hide over the softer leathers they offer. the pro Prefered tend to be to soft. The mitt is great, He plays 3rd and loves it. Its actually an outfield glove. But the stiffness and the overall tight cow hide is ideal for infield. I also recomend nakona grease or mitt conditioner. Its great. I spent 200$ on the glove he loves it and is worth every penny.

  • nokonas are good outfiels mitts, but if u play infield u want either a rawlings, nike,or wilson, these brands do make outfield mittts but the brands mostly make infield gloves

  • i use the trapeze method for my infielders glove with a batting glove with my heart of the hide...most comfortable glove ever

  • i just sit on mines a couple of times lmao

  • how do you stop your glove from tacoing, am i squeezing the glove the wrong way?

  • put two fingers in the pinky hole. it will close better

  • just oil your when you get it and before every season.. i have they rawling heart of the hide and its sick.. in my old gloves i would just get them relaced ever 2 years or so..

  • best gloves to get r definitely Nokona's, better than pro preferred and a2k

  • Nokona's are good gloves but extremely heavy.....My 2cents would be to get a SSK glove. They are made in Taiwan and are the pro models over in Japan, Korea, etc. I just bought one for $125 and LOVE IT!

  • yeah were is the store?

  • never use oil i have never oiled my gloves and my friends are always asking me to use them because they are so broken in

    just use it

  • where is this store???? lol

  • i heard not to oil a catchers mit. Is this true?

  • i have never oiled my catchers mitt

all you should do with any type of glove is use it

  • all gloves need to be oiled. the oil keeps the leather moist, if the leather dries out it will crack and break. oil in moderation a couple times a year

  • the a2k is sick its definently better then the primo i had the primo for 3 years, but the a2k is better

  • Wilson A2k... Best glove I've ever had.

  • i got a

    Nike Diamondready.

    like a week ago

    still breaking in.

    =]

  • taht glove is easy to break in..i used to have one took like 1 week

  • ha last year i lost my old glove and went to the store and bought a diamond ready like an hour before a game and it was fine haha the leather is super soft but bad quality

  • i'd say get a primo it's worth the money

  • if you have the cash....

  • Comment removed

  • i just got a nokona Amg 1150-Mt Kangaroo leather bloodline series glove for $250 and was wondering if this glove was realy worth the money

  • Wat the fuck is that??
