Has anybody read (psalms111:9 KJV)? This is the only time in the Bible where the word Reverend is used & it is used to address God. It says holy and reverend is HIS name. David is expressing his feelings about God! So whoever is allowing this man to wear this title *Reverend* is in effect exalting him up to the same level as God himself. (Whoever responds to my comment I ask you to please, please, please read the scripture first and be honest with yourself before responding.)
@MrCantfindanynames PICK PICK PICK!!!!! there is always going to be some disagreement about scripture now and until Jesus comes back. Jesus was a prophet, a teacher, a preacher, an evangelist and most of all the Son of the living God. Why don't we say the same thing about some one calling themselves Prophet or Evangelist.. Some people may simply call themselves 'john smith', or Bro. Smith and some may use their titles. The bottom line is that the heart is right and devoted to Christ.

The thing is that people who call themselves evangelist or prophets are simply people who claim to be teachers of God word. Those titles don't carry the same weight as a title that exalts human being to the same level as God.
