thank you for the video, the dumper is very usfall, i ahve been looking for it for a long time, i never thought that ikea have one.

Tip for anyone here which cannot get the damper on after you have already been using it.

Get needlenose pliers and lift the spring up... that's it.

I assume the spring compresses down into position once the damper has been on for a while so it won't clip into the hinge after removal.

I had mine on for 6 months and 1 fell off, the other I took off to see how to put the other on... both had this issue.

:s how do you put on the dampers so easy... I put mine on when I installed but since then, 1 came off and I can't get it back on. the springy bit just doesn't go into the hole..
