I went looking for the RX8 and to show that Mazda sales person knows nothing about the RX8 or Wankel/Rotary engine, when I popped the hood, the guy was like "The RENESIS!" Putting a real emphasis on the renesis.Note that these cars have engine covers with the name on it. I then knew he didn't know JACK!

@opiumrx the RX-8 is the only production car with a rotary engine. The RX-7 is no longer a production car so she is 100% correct. There has NEVER been an RX-6 due to the difficulty of saying that with a Japanese accent. The RX-5 goes straight to RX-7 after that.

are you fucking serious ahahah lol.......well, your the dumb one for even posting a comment like that. The R3 gets a combined MPG of 18mpg (average) but it depends on where you drive it. Performance wise it does not stand a chance compared to the cars i listed and they are about the same range price maybe few grands more (I know that the 370z nismo is about 10K more but it's worth it). The funny thing is the R3 has worse MPG than the nismo.

only 24.6mpg? the S2000 has the same as this car if you said about 25mpg. Almost all of the cars in the rx-8's category has about the same fuel economy, rx-8 only being SLIGHTLY worse than some.
