@peterwincklerkrog New UN law does not allow such take over anymore. It is now totally illegall. You have a point I do not think USA will respect The UN law they probably will take over. I would rather you people have it rather than USA.
Find one single place in the US where almost the entire population speaks another language with such fluency as the Danes speak English, even just the regular Joe Blow on the street. Pretty amazing if you think about it.
I'm visiting Copenhagen in about a month and I don't have much time there so I was VERY happy to have a great video like this that covered all the stuff there is to do there! Thanks!!! :D
@Shukria123 What's bullshit about it? well maybe Denmark is better but in my case I wish Canada and the U.S could trade places geographically... I'm on the U.S. side of Lake Erie and it's already too cold in winter for me to go further north.. dam soooo close
@MoveMakerTV For example, Denmark has a lower child poverty rate than Canada, %5 compared to Canada's %15. Denmark has free university; Canada doesn't. Etc...
We're always being told in Canada that Canada is the world's number one country, but when I look at the numbers, I have my doubts about that.
@regisit1 I meant Mexico City - the capital. I have a lot of friends from Mexico (Mex.C, Puebla) they all are very cheerful, but I've never noticed they love live in their country.
@snowmery Well , the comment he makes here about Mexico and Puerto Rico is full of sarcasm , I fell . My mom is Mexican and I live in Mexico City now.I have so much love for this country and specially this city , which is probably one of the safest city in Mexico right now belive it or not . So sorry if I got that offensive , maybe I missunderstood your comment and his comment. :)
It's true Jesus45U and I agree with you. Actually I used to follow a weekly web based TV show about Denmark from MyDenmarkTV. Now I started to learn more about the happiest country on earth.
It's always interesting to see what people from the outside have to say about the country you were born and raised in. :)
As for the happiest country on earth ?
More like the happiest people on earth - and since happiness is all in the mind, you can take your happiness with you anywhere. The whole world is the happiest place in the world. :)
Jesus45U, Yeah, and perhaps learning of being contented is the foundation of happiness in everyone's heart and mind. May the people around the world will learn something about the Danes and we all might live in harmony and peaceful earth. God Bless.
I think it's more basic than that - It's more a case of being able to live with eachother without wanting to beat the snot out of eachother. Sounds easy, doesn't it ? :)
@Jesus45U : Absolutely you are right. We are meant to live with each other. Because no ever man can live like an island. We need to take care for the other and think for the sake of them. And together we will live a more fruitful and happy life. I define that as heaven if you are happy you made others live in a joyous life. If we're jealous to see others on top, perhaps that is hell. If we are self-centered and tend to live alone, thinking we do not need others. That is purgatory.
I agree, we might just misleading the general topic about Copenhagen. And yes, I really wonder why tourists love to visit this place and how the Danes became the happiest people on earth. That is why I did watched many videos about Denmark here in youtube since there are lots of videos being posted. And one channel I always followed MyDenmarkTV for their weekly episodes. I found their official site also with some videos not published here in youtube. You can google them.
Don't blame him for his pronunciation! Danish must be the hardest language for non-Danish speakers to pronounce correctly! But it's a fantastic country.
fantastico copenhague,es una linda ciudad que hay que vivirla a fondo,...su gente muy amable ,teve la oportunidad de visitar dinamarca hace tres años y este año por fin volvere a ese hermoso pais
I live in Copenhagen and it makes me happy. But some Puerto Rican/Mexican weather would make me even happier. Maybe we're happy because we pay a realistic level of tax 39-59% and it pays for beautiful streets, social work that keeps crime down and lots of culture. I wouldn't recommend paying more tax for the sake of it, maybe you need Danish style organisation before you start shelling out.
Thanks again for a great visit to a great city! I noted in your intro you are part of the Hawaii Geographic Society. I used to live in Hawaii Kai and Kaanapali on Maui. You can see my video on the Maui Island Visitor Channel.

Mexico is the Second happiest nation on earth???
Fact about Mexico: More than 50% of Mexicans are underclass. More than 3 millions Mexicans are trying to flee to USA
becoming Illegal aliens.
More than 10,000 Mexicans killed by Narco-warfare.
So Mex is 2nd happiest nation??? Pwahahhaha....

Hagen in Copenhagen doesn't mean harbour. The danish name for Copenhagen is København, and the last part of that, havn, means harbour:)
Icemads 2 years ago
Actually, Hagen DOES mean harbor, it's an old germanic dialect, where they translated København into the nearest they had.
Copen = buying/trading = Køb(en)
Hagen = Harbour = Havn
København, or TradingHarbour.
But yeah, the real name of the city is København.
To say that the name Copenhagen has any import on the city to begin with would be silly.
It wasn't until fairly recently they really began to brand "copenhagen" as agressively as they do nowadays.
Now it's fashionable.
