Jazz gets his legs ripped out, he dies. Bumblebee gets his legs blown off, yet he lives. Doesnt make sense that a robot would die from such injuries. WTF he died cuz of pain trauma.

@DSWrath It's because Bumblebee's lower legs were blown off, and Jazz was ripped from his waist, where his spark is. All autobots have a type of shield around their spark, but Jazz knew they would need all the firepower they could get if they were to win the fight at mission city, so he converted all his power to his weapons before the battle. So when Megatron ripped his spark, the shield was powered down and Jazz was destroyed. R.I.P Jazz, you'll always have a cool place in my heart to kick it.

Sideways is a much better character if you know the series outside of the Michel Bay movies. Sideswipe was very cool in that scene though.

I don't recall him (Sideways) in the original series (G1). I assume he came in later versions like Armada, etc. So he served his purpose, in my opinion. I believe the better known G1 Transformers should have more play in the movies than the lesser known, because as seen in ROTF Bay is real good at not developing characters. Even in a new storyline it's easier to have a clue of their purpose since Bay is inept in that department.

You are correct, Sideways wasn't in the G1 series. I give you a lot of credit for not just smashing the Armada and later series. Anyway, Sideways was a 2 faced Transformer. He fought along side both Autobot and Decpticon to gain power and always be on the winning side. I think that could've been a great 3 movie plot but too late now I guess...
