The game is called Mobile Suit Gundam: Bonds of the Battlefield or Kidou Senshi Gundam: Senjou no Kizuna, it has a PSP port too.

You first need to pay about 300 円 for a card (with your player information on it), then pay 500 円 every time you want to play a couple of rounds. Expensive, but I can tell you, it's worth every 円.

i guess this is what inspired mobile suit gundam: federation vs zeon on ps2, except this is probably better cause it is like u r actually in the cockpit with the proper controls. I say this cause they r played in the same way but this must be sooooooo much betta. i would love to play this and hav the card with my rank etc, but also to use those crazy controls.
