Umm...no. Roy Keane decided to take him and most of the defenders off the next few games after that mauling.
As for over-rated, hmm...I dont think so, ofcoarse your entitled to your opinion, but I think most will agree Gordon has kept them in the game more times than he's let them down.
Keepers like Boruc or James are over-rated........Gordon is a top class keeper.......but not everybody knows him.......cause sunderland's defence sucks......w8 for next year and u will see !!!!

To be fair friend, these vids are 1,2, 3 years old, and Sunderland's defence has been very shaky the last few years, but Bruce has assembled a great TEAM (not just defence) THIS YEAR, even I was very critical of Sunderland's defence the last few years (under Keane & Sbragia), but Bruce has done wonder's for Sunderland's way of play and defending. Great stuff.

Even his Scotland stuff is pretty hard to come by, I record everything I can on my V+ box now, including old classic games with Hearts/Sunderland/Scotland but they're pretty rare, I do have alotta new footage for the new video I'll be making at the end of the season..shame he was injured again by Defoe :(
Best save he has ever had was against Motherwell. 2-1 to Hearts in the last minute, and a simply stunning save to win the game for Hearts. Its on Youtube, its about 30 seconds long, absolutely world class save from a genuinely world class keeper!
I don't sorry...I am looking for Gordon's earlier stuff in better quality, even buying up Hearts DVD's up for sale on Ebay and the Hearts shop just to find some old Gordon saves. I still say his best so far has been at Hearts. Sunderland have only seen glimpses of what Gordon can bring to the team. I'm hoping this is his season to shine at Sunderland. He did a great save against Man U recently which was amazing.

Yeh. I went to school with Fleck and even though he's a wee dick he's a quality player. Played against him a few times and he was always miles ahead of me (and i'd like to think im not too shabby a player, took the ball round him twice but really just knocked it away from him and sprinted fast as i could :P thats my claim to fame anyway :L). Young player to watch is Caddis though he looks like he could be a top drawer player.
Don't think we've got bad keepers just a shockin defence usually.

Wow! I didn't think he was so good. I really like his attitude: whenever he saves he cares about the rejection and saves again. With Kasper Schmeichel, Tim Krul, Hugo Lloris, Antonio Adán and Manuel Neuer, he is going to be the best goalkeeper of the future.

Best saves I've seen Gordon make is Against Motherwell, Against Partick Thistle in the cup and against Hibs at Easter Road from a Rob Jones header.
If you could find a video of the Rob Jones one, its possibly the greatest save ever.

I reckon in the future, Gordon won't be on a par with the likes of Casillas, Buffon etc. He'll be better.
I could see a big move coming up for him in the next few seasons, as long as Sbragia doesn't let him stagnate on the bench at SAFC.
