Well, it's never out right revealed, but I think its implied by the chaotic sounds of the police in the background. If you listen closely you can hear them screaming "OH MY GOD, CALL BACK UP!!! DOES ANYONE SEE A GUN??!!" etc. Also, as mentioned, you see that he had been in her room between the time Julian went downstairs and came back as the roomservice cart (the one Julian bumps his knee into) is now in Terry's room. Also, if you look closely, it appears that Terry's wiping a spec of blood off his shirt right after the words "I went over there" and right before he says "and she was with 3 or 4 of her girlfriends just like she said". Its quick, and it may be a stretch, but that's what it looks like. Also, if you watch the way he's talking about her, it seems almost as if he's sad and reminiscent. Finally, it seems only logical as the police are breaking down the door at the end.
Oh, also, June never picks up her phone when they call it. AND it seems as though he must be setting his friend up. Like, Terry makes Julian take the gun from him so that Julian is holding the murder weapon when the police charge the room. Notice the way Terry's demeanor changes when the police show up, and that all the things he's saying have double meanings. Like, "we should get your story straight."
Terry doesn't shoot Julian. The bang you hear is the sound of the cops breaking down the door after finding June's body in the room across the hall. Julian is sitting there with the gun used to kill her in his hand...
I dont understand. I get everything up until it ends. I am confused about what everyone knows, like does Adrian know that his friend must have been lying about he realizing that June is with her friends and thus perhaps his best friend knows it was Adrian who was with her. Oh my god im so confused and I hate it because I liked the film a lot! please explain!
Julian (Adrian) knows Terry's lying about going across the hall and finding June with her friends cause (as you see) she wasn't there with her friends. At first Julian THINKS it must be because his friend chickened out of going across the hall and is embarrassed for dragging Julian down there and getting him involved. (cont'd)
But as Julian hears the cops show up in the hall way and then sees the roomservice cart that was in his room now sitting in Terry's room, it becomes apparent Terry killed June - the lie is a twisted way for Terry to do to Julian what Julian has been doing to Terry all night. (cont'd again)
Also, when he calls June's phone in front of Julian and you hear it ringing across the hall, its to show that the walls are thin and that all night he's been hearing the phone ring everytime he called Julian. So, he knew all along! Its a bit hard to hear and see everything on youtube, but its a brilliant ending (I think) if you're able to catch everything that's there...hope that was helpful
