Hey Dada.. still trying to get your Roland kick to feel more like a real drum head? Try loosening the head quite a bit.. maybe a full turn or so past just finger tight. I also have a neoprene rubber drum silencer pad inside the drum (underneath the head) and I found that helped a lot. I've actually tightened it a bit now tho after a few months of that. Hope it helps you.
