Most, if not all of the tactics that you're talking about come mainly from a good understanding of debate rather than actual knowledge of NLP. Also, you need to understand that just because they are using debate tactics, that does NOT debunk the credibility of their argument.
There is no NLP being used in this video. NLP is not defined as, "Any form of manipulation possible in any context." This person is just using a fluff word he probably saw associated with "mind control" which was associated with hypnosis and started running his mouth. There's no credibility to what he says. The hand jestures were falsely identified at the beginning. First, Combs IS a hard core liberal. His hands weren't all ove the place, they drew a circle to represent context. Then swept toward the guy to get the context from him. Video poster is pretend reading the jestures.

The hand jestures were falsely identified at the beginning. First, Combs IS a hard core liberal. His hands weren't all ove the place, they drew a circle to represent context. Then swept toward the guy to get the context from him. Video poster is pretend reading the jestures.
Hannity is a hard core right winger. Also, don't mistake this for news. It is by definition news commentary, not news. Of course Fox doesn't often do much better on its actual news, but this reading is plain silly.

i have been witness to this for a lot of years! In fact at one point the networks used (what military admitted out of court) an lrad device but wouldnt admit to a mircowave device, when I was physically attacked in front of a live camera august 1992. To this day is being covered up and I was forced on meds, even had x-congressman's wife in my home as a probation officer for drugs not found in or on me and trumped up charges against me to discredit me in pre 9/11 control game.

Hanniity , O'Reilly and the other pundits on Fox-News can best be thought of as the "Tokyo Roses'" of the Republican party and the corporate interests that guide them. Their purpose is to divide and distract Americans so they argue amongst themselves over unimportant issues. The labels "Liberal" and "Conservative" are abstract terms at best. The conservatives in America now, are far more liberal minded than conservatives 25 years ago and will be even more so, in another 25 years.

while I'm not at convinced re: the 911 inside job conspiracy idea, I must say that this was an awesome analysis of the manipulative techniques being used by these news people. The narrator here has very clearly articulated explanations in a step-by-step fashion that shows that actually MOST of the things said by the news interviewers are manipulation, distraction, etc.. I've watched these 2 bullies on farce news quite a few times, I've rarely seen two people showing more disrespect to guests. A guest is someone you've invited, and that invitation should be a gesture of respect. Unfortunately its just an invitation to put someones ideas down. Its not always what is being said, its how its said, whether or not respect is given. No matter what someone believes or understands, that does not give anyone license to disrespect them for what that is.
