Following this incident there was an outcry that this video was only part which resulted in negotiations took place that reduced policing to two officers in a patrol car. Had there been no outcry then nothing would have changed.

Like I said, this was the first protest and Georgia police followed protocol. Thanks to good behaviour and mature negotiation subsequent protests have been policed in a much more proportionate manner, that is two police in a patrol car. This is proof of what I say, if you were correct the protests would still be policed by riot police. The protesters still get to wear masks.
The only people who felt harassed were the scientologists. The public were and still are very supportive, many people honked in support even though the police were pulling them over that day.
The police presence was as dictated in Georgia guild lines for policing protests. It had sod all to do with harassment, the police were there before the protest started, before there could be harassment.
Thanks to good behaviour the police presence was cut from 30 riot police to 2 officers in a car.

I really know nothing about scientology. They could be doing everything you say, and I just don't know.
My concern that day was a masked mob near my house that was frightening and intimidating to the residents of our neighborhood.
I honestly don't blame the scientologists for calling the police. If the mob had been in front of my house, I would have been at the door with a shotgun in my hand, and a pistol in my belt waiting for the police to remove the mob.
The key point, that these members of anonymous don't quite seem to get is that you cannot assemble in a mob like that with masks on. It causes people to legitimately feel fear, and it is not something that we have to tolerate.
And despite carson's claims to the contrary, it is clearly illegal. The arrest was not unprovoked, it was provoked by the choice of the mob to disregard the law. And they are lucky they were not all arrested.

That's not the case at all. It's all about proportionate response. 30 fully kitted out riot police for a peaceful protest is disproportionate. Local anonymous have spoken with the various powers that be and since that protest the response has been more appropriate, a couple of police observers. The only people who felt harassed were the scientologists. The public were and still are very supportive, many people honked in support even though the police were pulling them over that day.
The police presence was as dictated in Georgia guild lines for policing protests. It had sod all to do with harassment, the police were there before the protest started, before there could be harassment.
Thanks to good behaviour the police presence was cut from 30 riot police to 2 officers in a car.

Locals were not harassed. The only problems caused to locals were when they honked their support they were pulled over and cited by the police.
Only the scientologists, the subjects of the protest felt "harassed" but then anyone being protested is bound to feel that way.
The relationship with the Georgia police and Anonymous is wonderful, Anonymous works with the police. Sadly the scientologists still waste police time with bogus calls; the police maintain a small presence to pre-empt this.

Remember this video is over a year old now. The Georgia police reacted as per policy in Georgia, riot police etc. however this has been changed.
Those involved in the protest were also locals, they were not brought in. Remember that at the same time protests occurred around the world pretty much anywhere there were scientologists.

It was agreed the level of policing at the 1st protest was excessive, a waste of local resources. Policing at the next protest was reduced to just two police to preclude unwarranted calls to the police by the scientologists.
This would not have happened had any of your statements regarding behaviour at the first protest been true.

I am pleased to report that thanks to discussions with the local police such understandable misunderstandings regarding the masks were quickly dealt with.
The masked protests continue on a monthly basis while the police response has been cut to a more appropriate 2 cops in a squad car to keep an eye on things.

Local anonymous have spoken with the various powers that be and since that protest the response has been more appropriate, a couple of police observers. Everything has been fine since then and this video only stays as a record of what the situation was like.

bad it distracts from reuniting family members with scitol members
both have positives and negatives but the police higher ups are the corrupt ones not the ordinary beat cycle cop they are with us
