I have a question regarding this song.

I noticed that in 5:33 of this song, the left and right hand are played a bit differently than in the original song. I have watched a few playing video's on YouTube and noticed they play it like you do. Is this how it is in the original sheet music? Because if you listen close, you can hear a difference in the original song.

some of the finger placements is wrong, you have to worke that up or you will have a hard time to play more advance music. but otherwise you played it good with some small mistakes.

@Jekiterio If there is anything I have learned from the instructors I've heard speeches from, it's that finger placement can jump out the window and you should play however you feel comfortable. Not what everyone else says is proper.

@Frankiegirl2020 Yes, there is no rule on how to play the piano but it recommends that you play it by having the correct fingers on the piano or it can cause you to develop a bad habit. By playing it correct you have less chance on hurting your fingers and also you would be capable to play faster.

I don't understand why so many people look at these tutorials. It's much easier to learn a piece by sheet music. If small children can read sheet music than anybody can. Why does he call this piece a song?

@axdy91 Well, obviously everyone doesnt know how to read sheets... You have to learn it first, and everyone doesnt have time for that. It can take several years, and thats why small kids often know how to read it, cuz their parents made them learn it.. Or they just wanted to learn it them selves, but thats not relevant.

Learn the FACE/EGBDF and GBDFA/ACEG note placements and practice a little.. sure I wasn't fast after the first week, but I could read it.

Started learning this song when I got a keyboard on christmas 2009, learnt the first few parts, and then I put my keyboard aside and didn't play it for around a year. Then I started listening to To Zanarkand again, which in turn got me interested in piano again.. I play guitar, and am a small-time music producer, and had no past experience in playing the piano, but these tutorials are great! Thanks for them, I'm going to go and practice now :)

There are some basic on the video that you could use technical term like, C Harmonic to the combination C3 G3 C4, cause it's basicly 1ª 5ª 8ª of the C key for example.
