@chopielism USA. Ich komme eigentlich aus England habe meine Frau im Irish Pub Goettingen kennengelernt. Sie wollte wieder nachhause zu Ihrhe Familie und wollte das ich mit komme. Nach ein Paar monaten in Amiland haben wir geheiratet damit ich bleiben duerfte. Das war in 94, und ich (wir) sind kleben geblieben. Ich will wieder nach Deutschland aber sie will in der naeher ihre Familie sein.  Naja, was man fuer Frauen alles so tut.

@chopielism . Ja mein Frau war Kellnerin da und es ist meine Lokal gewesen. Das Wetter hier ist sehr schon, manchmal vielleicht ein Bisschen zu heiss. Gestern war's um die 35c. das Problem ist das mit solchen Wetter kommt auch große Gewitter und Tornado. Wenn du manche von meinen Videos anschaust kann die sehen das meine Nachbarschaft ist von ein Tornado vor 4 Wochen oder so getroffen worden. Und Weinachten mit 18c oder so ist auch ein Bisschen unheimlich

@chopielism Anyway, ich finde dein Dieselkraftrad seht schon. Ich habe selbst ein 1969 CZ 175 Trail mit ein 6.5hp Diesel und TAV2 CVT umgebaut. Macht Spass. Es ist gut fuer um die 85kmh oder so und Spritverbrach ist weniger als 2 Liter auf 100km. Habe auch ein 74er GT380 3 Zylinder 2 Takt und ein 2007 Honda CRF250, Benelli 250 Motorroller, ein Lambretta 82ccm Roller und ein selbstgebaut Moped (Fahrad mit 80ccm 2 takt motor eingebaut, lauft etwa 50kmh.

@Laofse modern diesel engines run a lot cleaner than old diesels plus give you more mpg than a petrol engine. that's why they're better, only downside is that they are a lot heavier than petrol engines and aren't as nippy.

I have lots of questions, like: what's the compression ratio? How is injection worked out? How does an air-cooled engine handle the higher temperatures? Engine life expectancy? If it is practical enough, why not?

They used deisel air cooled engines in tanks in WW2. That way if it took a built it would not leave the crew in enemy land. Rpm thus is lower, hece that bike sounds like Bulldozer, Super cool bike

I used to drive a 38 ton Iveco 190/29 tractor unit with an air cooled FIAT V8 diesel. That was a beautiful free revving lovely engine. So, if a heavy truck can handle being air cooled, a bike will easy!!

2 - 2.5 litres per 100km, is 142 - 114 mpg. Pretty good for decent on road performance. 20 bhp doesn't sound much, but it should be sufficient for a 70-75mph cruising speed with an 80 top speed. Although you would have to be a little patient on long hills.

wasn't this the bike which was prone to frame cracking?

The 'werkzeugmeisters' were forgotten that from the original bullet, the engine was a supporting part of the frame, thus a stiff subframe is needed.

did you make any alteration for this? or do you have another version?

Only 20 horsepower... Seams kind of weak. Needs a turbo charger, bigger injectors, and if you're ambitious intercooler or water injection. Head porting works on diesels too. I love it, I wish I had a diesel bike... But I don't know if I could live with 20 horsepower. Maybe 40 or 50.

vibration cant be worse than an S&S v-twin with 14:1 compression (gas, not diesel, though at that compression it can almost handle diesel!)

That is a Indian Royal Enfield Frame fitted with a Diesel Engine. Nice bike but vibration can be very tiring as compared to petrol engine.
