Kinect is a very big fail. This is nothing like what microsoft said it would be. From all the videos I've seen, there is A LOT of lag when the console tries to read movements. Wasn't there also that milo character which could respond to anything you say? It was obvious that there were only certain things you could say to him, it's not like he'll respond to anything with rude or sexual content.

At least the wii was actually what it was set out to be. Microsoft are bullshitters.

what?move requires you to hold a controller, in a broader sense, ps2's eyetoy was more advance considering the fact that you didn't need a controller, but ps2 eyetoy failed as there was no use for it, holding onto something for motion control is not the way forward

@tulud people like u get fooled into believing having no controller means cool. what have we been doing since the age of gaming began? using a controller. what does the acclaimed wii have? a controller. the move controller is sooo precise and works so well with the eye, its a match made in heaven (lol) the eyetoy was innovative i agree, but what u seem to think bout sony is that the move is not a console change, its an addon. the move looks to win.

no i dont think having no controller is "cool" what im saying is that if you have a motion control device, and your still using controllers, you know that your still not in the future,the wii is not critically acclaimed if we're talking about sales yes it sold alot of hardware, but consider this wii has the largest collection of crap games ever made on earth thats not an exaggeration were talking about technological advancements here not how its going to be received by the public

@tulud both move and kinect have controllerless gaming and the move does it well, kinect's navigation seems ok but no games has stood out yet. the ps3 at launch was doubted but it had a good lineup of games and was promising, the kinect has no good lineup. the move seems to have the best of both in one. ah well, if ur going to buy kinect, i can atleast hope u enjoy it : )

@tulud i disagree. I agree with them being addons, but they are reaching into another profitable genre/market. Cmon, you have to make money aswell. Sony arent rushing into things, they had this prototype ages ago and they rejected kinect when it was brought to them. and motion control isnt just for casuals, with the move, it has many hardcore titles. Im a hardcore gamer and im craving for motion control advancement like the move

@lolking4 Learned from the wii?? Sony and Microsoft have learned from the wii that there is a hell of a lot of money to be had in the casual gaming market and they want a peice of the pie. The way I see it is the more people that buy the consoles, the more money sony and microsoft can put into cooler hardware and first party titles. Besides, motion control can be quite fun, but I would prefer a normal controller way more :)
