Battlefield 2 was a clone of the best mod for 1942 and it's easier then this mod. Desert Combat it's a real hardcore copter and jet combat not like baby gameplay of BF 2 and 3. Battlefield doesn't have any respect today if we based on battlefield 2-3. Bf1942 was greater and best warzone shooter of is time, over CoD 1-2-3 and desert combat are the most hardcore mod of all-time. I'm the most best pilot of helicopter i saw when i played and i just played a pilot nothing else...

Every game in Battlefield series is special. So please don't tell us that one or another was better. At least i love them all. Yesterday i went to 2142 after long time, and i felt like i have gone back in time when i was playing it alot. I have great memories from that game. Sad thing about it was that it's dieing. Also few weeks ago i played 1942, Battlefield 2 and even Vietnam. I enjoyed the nostalgic moments that i had when i played them alot.

@USful I cannot agree more. Battlefield has 2 thing that COD will never have: 1. 'Consistency', consistently develop their game into more epic experience and satisfying their fans. What I love the most is how they keep the theme song basically the same and just adding new twists :D

2. A mature community of online player who are not afraid to help out their team. There are so many COD players I run into just abuse their mics and make noises as if they are getting laid by a donkey -.-

Well you shouldn't say "cod players", Since after Modern Warfare 2 was released, Cod-series splitted in half. Good and Bad, Cod2 and Cod4 in example were both masterpieces and still have one of the most active competitive esport scenes in FPS genre.

Oh and have you heard MW2's theme called "scrapyard flyby" (or what it was called). It's quite epic.

But i still trust in DICE. Fast Patching, and the first big budget game who are developped first for PC, and an excellent support service for PC. It not happenned since a looooong time.
