This helped alot because I just got a faux hawk haircut but the person didn't use a razor really but in a month when I go back to get it trimed i want them to buzz the sides and back so you can tell my hairs shorter then on top! I think a 3 will b good for me and it doesn't make the hair super super short like a #1 does

I have a really high hairline and I want to get a buzzcut, but im not sure if it will look good on me, so i am really not sure. I always wear a hat to school and everything, and it sucks.

@SBToTheFace is your hair very long now? If it wouldn't be much shorter it might actually look better and if it doesn't, then it wouldn't take long to get back to its current length if its not too long right now. I hated it at first but after a few days I liked it.

@schuggs well i started out like you. i started with a 4 and i just kept going shorter each time. I've done a 0 a couple of times but didn't like it. so now i do a 1/2 cut when i cut my hair. also, the hair cuts started getting more frequent. at first it was every 3 weeks, then every 2 weeks, then every 10 days. now i cut it every week.

4 weeks ago I started with my buzcut. Couldnt do nothign with 5cm of hair so after much advise let it trim down to 5mm. It felt great. I bought my own trimmer and now its 1,5mm. I get allot of positive comments. So Im keeping it :D.

Haha! I have had long hair for just over two years. Having a variety of different hair styles, something to experiment with. But then i thought that i have never had a 3... Buzz cut, so i got it, and a few weeks later, i got bored, and gave myself a two, and bleached it. That was three weeks ago, my hair had grown over double its length, and i really want a number one, but i'm not allowed. SUCKS. So i'm sticking with a number two, off to get it tomorrow morning, left the razor at my old house.

I think you should do 3 all around. My brother gave me a number 5 earlier today ( didn't want to but i lost a bet) and it feels so weird because this is the first buzz cut I've ever had, I had long hair all of my life.

The top was down to my eyebrows, the sides were like 2 inches past my ears and the back was like 1 1/2 inches from touching my shoulders. Before he took the first clip with the buzzer I felt I was nervous because I didn't think i was going to like it. Now for pay back I am going to give my brother a buzz cut (his hair is about am inch longer than mine was). Buzz cut at 10:30 at night? I think yes!
