  • You dont need any kind of permit. twinten

  • nice video, i have this plane its great.. only flown at prado in chino so far, at van nuys do i need apollo airfield permit? im have AMA

    thanks..

  • nice video.. glad i watched i was looking for a paved rc airfield around so-cal..

  • Ladies and gentlemen this is the captain speaking, we are just about to land - BAMMM BANG OWWW SHITT!!.... and we are on the ground !!

  • lol at 1:51 you hut the ground hard but after that you landed nicely

  • super

  • 1:54 that was the worst landing in the world

  • I was getting ready to respond "it's a model, you try better" before I even saw it... then I saw the landing.

  • i know dose this eflight super airliner

    has radio controll

  • brb

  • Nice landing!

I thought only airbus's were supposed to land like that.

  • ive been on budget airlines that land like that at 2:48 and turn that quick too hahahah

  • ..Oddly, so have I. Not as fun as it looks when you're not expecting it.

  • landing gear is too high defeats the scale look of the beautiful plane

  • nice landing at 2:48. Is the plane worth the money and time spent on it though? Please respond b/c i might want to get this plane

  • Hi. I can tell you its worth the money. Have 3 of these planes (now, after the last video: 2)

    :-)))

Costs are minimal, the first time you will need 5 hours for assembly. Flight behaviour is easy to handle (no wing drop at stall, like a electroglider, but a little faster).

Crash resistance is poor! I would modify rudder+elevator controls (the "crash pilot" of my video said, it was due to elevator went inoperqative...) Look out for RC airliner onboard cam

  • 2 liPos for each motor? How long are your flights, with that?

  • ok, landing tips, you were coming down hard so you want her at stall speed when you are 6inches from the ground, (easier said than done) , i suggest having her high up lined up with the runway and just cut the power and glid her in but just to have a smooth landing

  • Please post some videos of your landings so as to set an example.

  • haha, sry, i dont own a jet liner and i dont think i would want a jet liner rc (just not me)but i mean it just takes time to learn like anything

  • landing R/C is a lot harder than when ur actually in the plane. Your depth perception is all messed up with R/c

  • "great flyin" (not)

  • Post a video of your flying to show us all what good flying is.

  • Twinten,

Sure, I will post a few training videos online just for you but i guess i'll have to simplify them down as not to confuse you.

Best thing to do is to take it back (with all the wrapping, remember) to the customer services and tell them "I've been instructed to return this as im too slow to fly it"

Best of luck. Remember to take your community appointed carer with you as a memory aid. Will kindly send you email of step by step home to store guide.

  • Uh, can we all get along??

I built the plane Dec. '06, its a great plane!

Remember to clean gras, dirt, etc out of the intakes everyso often; everything gets sucked into the engines. Horizon Hobby has another winner on their hands. Should be made from polypropylen-foam like the Parkzone T-28 (which I love) and Stryker-c brushless. Still a cool plane; not a beginner plane, though!

  • You know I appologise, I didn't see that that wasn't twinten. I don't think that I am wrong, but I do not want daxfx to get to me, all that did was stir up trouble. Lets not do that people. So whatever, I'll leave you alone.

  • Thank you for flying Disaster Airlines LOL!

  • Sorry to bother you so much, but I just ordered one like 2 days ago, and I was curious why you have to use a different servo for the elivator? does it just require a bigger one or what, because I accidently ordered a regular one.

  • You ordered one what. Give more description of your project.

  • sorry, I ordered 1 E-flite super airliner, 2 3-cell lipo's, 5 sub-micro servos, 1 specktrum 6 ch fm reciever, 1 4 ch JR remote, 2 380 3900kv brushless inrunner motors, and 2 esc's. And I just wondered if I should have gotten 4 sub-micro servos, and one standard servo? Or if I'll be ok how it is.

  • Im familiar with the Super airliner, its an excellent model but not for a beginner. Your description of your purchases was not detailed enough to determine if it was right. A spectrum receiver will not work with a regular transmitter. That size plane should probably have micro servos, not submicro. Try to get help from a local experienced modeler. You should have started with something smaller.

  • You know I don't appreciate your being a smart ass with me ok! Just because I'm not as smart as you dosen't mean that I don't know what I'm talking about, I'm through asking you questions damn it!!! :(

  • That attitude will get you far in this world. The fact that Im 60 years older than you doesnt cut me any slack. Glad to halp out.

  • I think the smart ass is YOU !! he is telling the thrut you are an idiot he try to help you you just buy all electronics wrong you should go to a forum first do a little research of what you are going to buy.. or start with a Beginer RTF (Ready to Fly)

  • that was for NOT-goingtobeapilot

  • You know what, I put it together and it works just fine! All I did was ask a question, not ask him to tell me how to spend my money! So mind your own daxtx! Besides if you read the fine print E-flite them selves tell you to use the submicro's, and everything but the FM reciever, (That I exchanged for a JR one) so SHUV THAT UP YOUR BIG ANOYING ASS!

  • time, think aboout what you say before you say it, if you would stop thinking so much about yourself and see that there is others in this world, you will get so much further in life!

  • I agree with goingtobeapilot you are one smart ass! Go to Hell why don't you!

  • Hey do you think you could tell me where to get a lipo charger, I'm looking for cheap. I was told to look at a MRC super brain 977, which is $100, but is that as low as the price go's or what? and how long do you think each lipo gives you in flying time?

  • Get the Cellpro 4S at FMA. Its only $69 and has fast charge and cell ballance capability.

Flying time calculation requires measuring the current and the voltage while running the motors. It depends on the quality of the Lipos you buy. The cheaper ones dont cut it.

  • looks like he screwed up the nose gear

  • he shouldnt really come in dead-stick like that... should have it at about 25-30% power so you dont have to land so quickly!

    oh yea, is that brushless?

  • Wow! Must be why they say, "Please keep your seatbelts fastened until the captain has turned OFF the 'fasten seatbelt' sign!"

That plane looks really good. Many safe landings!

  • oops, that was quite a spank!!

  • Hey that is so kuel, i never saw that before. My best friend has an Eflite Blade CP Pro electic helicopter, i bet he would love ur rc and so would i.

  • bad landing at 1:56.

    any damage from that?

  • i think it bent the nosewheel

  • but have a detached kit with the gears to buy?

  • Your plane is very cool, but i have a question, I have ducted fan 747 plane, but without gear, and your 777 gear, you make or buy with it?

  • The gear comes with the kit.

  • I flew my eflite supr airliner agin yesterday. What a fantastic airplane! The mates all cheered when I did another perfect landing!

  • tell me where you got it?!

  • Did you broke the front gear???

  • No, it just bent a little and was streightened OK.

  • rich i am not but i lack patience and as far as eccentric i suppose that thats fits me to a degree as well...but hell life would be pretty boring otherwise...thanks for the ino tho...safe flying

  • btw i have a shirt just like that Luv x press :)

  • wow i would love to buy one of those where would i buy one i livein chicago

  • Buy it on-line from E Flight. Dont make this your first plane. You need several years of experience flying electric RC before attempting the 777 unless you are rich eccentric !!

  • that is awesome how much would something like that cost

  • Its about six hundred for the plane, motors, batteries, and another 200 for the radio. Abouot 800 dollars total.

  • Its all foam I will kill my wife if it crashes.
