I see a lot of studios wear pedinis. I personally think that sometimes they're uncomfortable, (I perfer foot thongs or even just ballet shoes. lol) but the heel is not as high on a pedini as it is in a character shoe. Therefore they might be easier to dance in/turn in. Yet Applause is so talented already that who cares what shoes they wear? lol. Pedinis also look nice on stage.

can someone give me the answer to why they choose to wear these shoes in particular? I see very few studios wear them, and I wonder why. I just wonder because I hear that they are uncomfortable, and they look more like character shoes (they don't blend in like the other ones do).

so what are the advantages to these shoes? are they easier to turn in, or do some teachers just like the look better? thanks!

I love love looooove the creative use of movement in this. So unexpected and yet something so harmonious about it. Hope it makes sense. I mean, the music sure does not hurt, the costumes make sense. Just a spot on job by D Rogers.

this is the tightest jazz routine i've seen in a looong time. it's way more original than a lot of the comp jazz i've seen. but perhaps that's only me... regardless, this is amazing! i love the pink sashes thing at the end.
