the actors always sign a 6 or 7 year long deal in the beggining. it doesn't necessarily mean that the show's gonna last that long. it's just for safety so if the show's a hit and it does last 6 or 7 seasons the actor's not gonna leave lets say after 4 years. after the 7th season they usually only sign for one season every year so they can leave whenever they want. but seriously these days not a lot of shows even last that long. I hope GG will.
