I used to live here. The building is so hot in the summer that I had to install fans which wasted electricity. Also, the pool and cinema he's talking about are still not open..

A: my uncle graduated there in architecture, 1933; but Columbia did not want to take me because I could not speak English, but why did The Cooper Union and Pratt did later?!

Working 24 h a day really is the thing to strive for, innit? ...Beijing is of course, something we all should see... and why? ...Well, I dunno, but what if y'all students would get to put anything you'd like into a city (,given that you'd make it with absolutely ideal circumstances) ...now wouldn't THAT be great... architecture!

I met steven Holl at the Bloc Building in KC and was amazed at his friendliness. We started out talking and he ignored everything to talk to me about the philosophy of architecture.
