2nd generations do at least 140mph. That's what I had mine up to. I'm sure it could do more. 3rd Generation is the coolest IMO. My beef with the 4th gen. is that it is only available in Auto. Kinda weak, but love the TL. PS I'm a Bimmer man.

Mine went 155MPH stock, and then I got some work done to it (intake, headers, exhaust, injectors, pistons,cams, suspension, brembo brake system, etc) and it went past the 160MPH on the speedo :)
