@jered91 It's really up to you, but in my opinion: if you had a ds lite before, you should probably try out the dsi if you don't mind not playing gba games anymore on the system.
If you like media along with gameplay and don't mind the loss of gba gameplay and matt finish, then the dsi is for you.
but if you want to play gba games still and keep it simple as well as using homebrew, then get the ds lite instead.
overall, I would chose the dsi and get something new, maybe a dsi xl. :P
