just think about if Burns had stayed on the punk/goth track,he might had been happier. More respected in the biz that is music, and not so rich ( maybe ) that he could fuck his extreme good looks up with a gazillion operations!
You're obviously tone deaf and retarded. Maybe in the studio this sounded good and maybe even live it did. But the recording sucked, can't even understand what he's saying most of the time. Moron. BTW ...I love Pete Burns so why don't you worry about that chromosome you're missing you stupid, worthless, piece of litter covered cat shit.
I got into DOA when they played the Granada 'Celebration' programme, but had previously made the mistake of putting my head round the door of Pete and Lyn's clothes shop that was right next to the rock section in Probe records, and his bellowed 'If we've got anything that fits you, we're f****ng closing!'
That's horrible--what a mean thing to say! You know, I love DOA, but that Pete Burns seems like a vicious, nasty 'hole. Moreover, there is some irony in his saying something so evil to you: I remember him telling a story once about how every morning when he walked to the clothes shop to open up, he was terrified that he would encounter Courtney Love on the street, coming home from whatever bender she had pulled the night before.
The fact that Courtney Love was in England in the late '70s, causing trouble even then blows me away, but that's another story. Anyway, CL would often see Pete B. and start yelling nasty things at him on the street and embarrass him. So he always rushed to the shop before she could see him. And then he turns around and says something mean to you. That old queen has got a shitload of bad karma coming to him, I'll say that.
@seanr456 Sophisticated Boom Boom was re-issued with equally horrifying stories in the liner notes about how when Burns worked in a record shop he would shit on people and refuse to sell to them when he didn't like what record they were buying. If he only knew the import shop where I used to buy my DOA vinyl and how nice the people there were even though I was buying dance and they were mostly metal!! He's shit on people forever and definitely has some karma coming like you said.
