Disregarding the overwhelming evidence for the biological tree of life (we have every reason to believe they did) what would your alternative explanation be? Were these freshwater fish swimming around in a global flood 5 thousand years ago (more than 7 thousand years after humans crossed the land bridge into the western hemisphere)? Or are you more of a wishy washy persuasion that there just must be something out there vastly more complicated than the complexityt we see around us
im sorry but i really hate these's things ..i once thought they was awesome but one day i saw a huge one with blue eyes crawl out the water and ete a mouse...
@theawakener7 It's not a yes or no answer, smart one. Sorry that things don't boil down that easy. Not everyone lives in the simple universe you do. lol.
The Australian ones are hard to come by and cost alot! They live long but they can't go dormant like the others. They look more like a normal fish. What's odd is no one knows how long they live or how they breed? Mine gets really excited before and during a storm. I guess he wants to go exploring and thinks the tank is going to overflow? They are not the best hunters, they love shrimp and hate to chase fish down. I feed mine ciclid pellets and he LOVEs them. He also loves cocktail shrimp too
Mine is a 28yr old West African lungfish and it is like a member of the family! I've only let it out when I clean the tank, but it can get accross the floor in no time! They WILL eat anything they can bite off or fit in their mouth. They can also give one hellova bite to anyone stupid enough to stick heir fingers in the tank near one. If you do decide to get one, get an African one because the south Am ones are not as tough and seem not to live long?

@theawakener7 Well...yes. You see climates and environments change and so do the animals with them. That's evolution in a nutshell essentially.

That is extraordinary. They evolved like that out of an accident 1 million years ago lol. The scientists call it the big bang theory lol...lmao.

@jorgipogi
Wow, I really hope that that was not an honest representation of your understanding of science...
If it was then i really don't know what part of that to correct first

@theawakener7 As opposed to what? Determinism?
That's not a question I can answer with a yes or no. Regardless, what does free will have to do with evolution?

@theawakener7 Okay, what would you have us tell you? That a magical man in the sky poofed it into existence? lol.
