@TheBarpak Actually it's about a kid who asks for help and he gets some rough help, but he knows it's worth. There's nothing in the song that says his father was an alcoholic. He just smacked the kid and told him to be strong, and he says "I ain't saying he was right, but he was always right by my side". So, that seems like a good dad after all.
