  • It is absolute PERFECTION when such a talented group of young people can sing this as well as they have. The diction and expressive and outstanding dynamics rank up there with many a professional choir. Thank you to this group for sharing. I would love to know more about them. Again Thank you - you have made my day. God Bless You all and here's hoping you keep singing!

  • I think this choir has a really heavy sound, without getting enough tenor or alto, but that could just be the recording.

  • I've been in choir for twelve years, and I'll say. This is amazing!(:

  • magnificent

  • Who is the composer of this piece?

  • Paul basler. its a really great piece .technically this is amazing but i cant feel the emotion of the piece .otherwise simply amazing .

  • Psalm 23 music by: Paul Basler

  • I think you all are great and you all are just very professional.this kind of music is ment to be sang perfctly which you all do. this isn't wicked or annie so just sing like you do.

  • I have to make a comment after reading the existing statments from various personnel.

    1. The choir harmonies are wonderful,

    2. Smiles and "swinging around like monkies" do NOT make for a good sound,

    3. There IS emotion through the music and its characteristics (eg: rallantandos, mf, p, mpm etc)

    4. The accompanient is sound.

This choir is to be commended on its performance!

    4.

  • You are absolutely correct!!!!!.....especially on #3.

  • Well, I think it's a matter of song style really. There's no one correct way of singing. Although generally for choral pieces, you're expected to stand still and have a tall sound. Expression isn't a priority, but it is nice to see. Most people are visual, and this isn't just an audio recording.

Anyway, I think the choir has an amazing sound, and I don't think they were expressionless or emotionless.

  • In one word: beautiful!

  • that black guy smiled a few times.... it does need emotion... this is such a promising text and needs to be expressed

  • would it kill yall to put some emotin into it. Sweet jesus!!

  • Too bad you don't have the horn though.

  • Some of you seem to be of the opinion that Counterpoints are robots. That is a very simple misconception, allow me to set the record straight. We are in fact Cybernetic Organisms: Cyborgs. We are flesh grafted onto machine parts, in order to look more human and conceal our mechanical bodies. We are incapable of complex human emotion. When we are not singing, we are stored in the basement. We have been told this is a depressing existence, however we cannot feel sadness. We cannot feel anything.

  • I dig it. I was HS choir cyborg too! Feelings don't win competitions...intonation and technique do!

  • AMEN!

  • wait...are you for real??

  • i hate robots

  • you have no idea what you're talking about

i WILL admit that it's hard to compare these other two songs to "sleep," since sleep is such a sick song. this is pretty well done, but it looks weak in "sleep"s shadow

  • I actually think this song is better than Sleep. I've always liked it more.

  • Join the -X- revolution , the Lord will triumph on the Earth and peace will come when the power of love will be greater than the love of power.

Tear this whole global hate system appart , do the right thing , protect the environnment , protect the poor , don't be afraid of loosing everything for the Love of God !

  • Amen!! lol

  • Why? Do you prefer fear?

  • they sound so great!

  • yall sound good on other songs, but you screwed this one up.
