Hi and thanks for your great video, My wife is pregnant , beginning of the 3rd month the doctor give her the metformin 500mg to be taken 2 times in a day. is it safe take it is there is any risk for n baby?

and yesterday i was prescribed with 500mg X2 day
im not diabetic but have impaired fasting glucose.
What kind of side effects can i expect.
