I got a lead pipe from a hardware store. 1.5 kg of lead for an absurdly low price.

Yes, I used charcoals and a vaccum cleaner.

When I can, I´ll film some lead slinging.
why making only half glandes? why not putting the two half molds together then pouring melt lead into the mold?

The mould was a 2 piece. After the first few casts the mould was not sealed and i was forced to use one half. The first few glandes were like a football.
Half glandes are ok. They fly well and hit the target point first.
