Concerning Lisa McPherson, based on a state's medical examiner's preliminary cause of death, Scientology was accused of two felony charges. The charges were dropped after the examiner changed the cause of death from "undetermined" to an "accident".
Result? Sci was judged innocent. Go protest the courts.

She should have been taken to medical professionals; they would have treated her malnutrition and saved her life. A "psychiatrist" would never even have spoke with her--at least not until she was healthy. Her death was pure negligence and it is indefensible. It's funny that this vid doesn't disclose all the facts of this case.
For one, The coroner on the L. Mc Phearson case refused to testify as to official 'cause of death'. Reason: He couldn't be sure. It's also a fact that an outside source (A known antagonist of the Church) actually funded the trial. The bottom line was, they all failed to prove the Church was at fault for any crime.
Speaking of facts, the coroner was a woman. So I see you've done a lot of research on this trial.
Scientology may not have been convicted in a court but the world knows they are responsible for Lisa's death and the records are available on the web for everyone to check out for themselves.
And thanks for acknowledging that Scientology plans to be responsible for more deaths in the future, but "next time" instead of applying Hubbard's tech, just go to the hospital.

Here's how I see this unfolding.
1) She says she wants to leave the church
2) They threaten her family when they talk to her in the hospital
3) She leaves with them to keep her family safe
4) She is forced to stay in the hotel room against her will (drugged, and restrained) until she doesn't have the energy to fight back
5) She finally succumbs and dies at the hands of her abusers (in the hotel room)

A "psychiatrist" would never even have spoke with her--at least not until she was healthy. Her death was pure negligence and it is indefensible. It's funny that this vid doesn't disclose all the facts of this case.
For one, The coroner on the L. Mc Phearson case refused to testify as to official 'cause of death'. Reason: He couldn't be sure. It's also a fact that an outside source (A known antagonist of the Church) actually funded the trial. The bottom line was, they all failed to prove the Church was at fault for any crime.

Scientology may not have been convicted in a court but the world knows they are responsible for Lisa's death and the records are available on the web for everyone to check out for themselves.

Second, Scientology was not acquited. The criminal case was dropped after the coroner had so much pressure put on her that she changed her opinion to accidental death. It ended the trial and her career.
The civil case was setlled, with Scientology paying the family a bundle to keep it out of court.
But the records are still online for everyone to read.
Verdict? Guilty as sin but unpunished.
