they can be fairly tall in the mountains around Dawson, but definately small compared to western BC or something. It gorgeous up there though; incredible biodiversity on such a visibly small scale that it's almost more powerful to be than BC forests. Tombstone National Park, about an hour and a half drive from Dawson up the Dempster Hwy is stunning. I miss the Yukon...
