is falling the reason you need a helmet? i would need to fall in order too need a helmet. although, i agree, beginners should use helmets. i did when i first started skateboarding

@Tarzan07330 well i dont go out of my comfort zone nore do i have any good hills to skate...longest skateable one in the county is less then a quarter mile. tops 35 if you push from the top and tuck down the tight turn. not that great.

although when skating big ramp or if im doing something risky(most B/S stuff like rails and plants)

i do agree. helmets are nice. but when needed. i always get a neck injury when i hit my helmet(although my head would have not smacked concrete) my helmet did.
