  • this episode isn't about kangaroos or what other animals we have it's about the food that we can produce in australia. australia is world known for it's diverse food range and this episode isnt one of his best but it'll still help bring tourists over here. im really over americans calling prawns shrimp though lol

  • Anthony, Anthony...PRAWNS...not shrimp :)

  • Where are the Aborigines?

  • i guess anthony bourdain love melbourne!!haha...give it up syd!the foodie love melbourne more.lol

  • where r d fkn kangaroos, eat one !!!!

  • @perro13ist roo is sold in supermarkets here... about 16 bucks a kilo ...I had some for dinner- it's very low fat and if fried, MUST be eaten medium... I love it.. mine was marinated in a herb and garlic sauce .. google macromeats :)

  • @Annie1962 maybe because of time they cant show us everything about other countries, but i mean , australia is known worldwide for their kangaroos , dingos and aborigenes , but still they have a lot of wonderfull things to show. , thanx for the comment !!

  • Lol at streaker at 2:47.

  • when i eventually move away from melb i will miss its plathora of corner and pub food ...but there is nothing that absolutely blows me away here. ..the easyness of corner food is great!

  • god i hate that fat bloke

  • I agree with the guy below. Why is he fishing for comliments, if he likes it he will tell you!

  • This fucking Malaysian guy's full of BS. I can say that cuz I'm Chinese. Having worked in a Chinese restaurant for almost 10 years of my life and being in the kitchen of one is like an episode of one of Gordan Ramsey's shows, asian style. The potty mouths of some cooks are just hilarious to listen to. Being in the heat and pressure of a busy kitchen brings that out of anyone. This fag of a restauranteur definitely hasn't seen this cuz he's never brought in that scale of business. What a poser. lol

  • Im from Aust and this episode is kinda boring lol. compared to the other exotic places or even the NZ episode. ZZzzz

  • The most cooks and the eaters in Anthony's films don't look very happy . Maybe deep inside they know what bullshit they are cooking, except the vegetables of course . Even they do good decoration and it taste good . You have to wash it with a beer, as Anthony says

  • melbourne is great for casual eating great local produce makes eating affordable. sydney is a place for fine dining and inovative cusines for the international palate.

  • ima go to australia to eat asian food.......fail

  • @Szipro What would you prefer he eat? Meat pies and Lamingtons? The best food in Melbourne IS Asian food.

  • Australian food.

It's not better or worse. Just different.

  • @Phaugirl no its better I miss australian food

  • @engaurd? the bratwurst stall, the lebanese pizza place, the kebab truck, the szechuan restaurant, etc are "upper class eateries"?

what doesn't qualify as upper class to you, just fast food?

  • @engaurd Watch 2:22 onwards, dipshit. The Royal Mail is located in "a small country aussie town". Looks real terrifying.

Most of the small eateries he visits are located in "working class" areas of Melbourne.

Have you been to Australia? Australian cities are the cleanest and most livable in the world. That's part of the reason why Australia is ranked second in the UN's Human Development Index, and Australian cities took out 4 of the top 10 places in the EIU's recent Most Livable Cities Index.

  • tony i love you but you know shit about sydney! having been here for 4.5 years, i can honestly say sydney food kicks melbourne food by 1000 miles.

melbourne wins in atmosphere n buildings. but in terms of food, sydney wins hands down

  • @cockalo I have family in Sydney, so they take me out to places when I'm there, and I think there are some GREAT restaurants in Sydney, particularly for special occasions. I think the up market places are fantastic, but the everyday standard/average quality stuff isn't as good as your average places in Melbourne...

  • @markii187 Agree. Sydney has some great fine dining restaurants. But when it comes to affordable, every day places melb is much better (apart from Thai food).

  • @markii187 fair enuff : )

  • @cockalo yea in kings cross the best kebab my friend makes it, and you can get a gram of coke at the same corner. its good service, professional.
