EMBEDDED, not attached. If it's attached, the whip would cut itself...
This way, you can wrap the enemy, and pull, to mutilate the enemy's skin.
That's just the tip of the iceberg, though.
But most prefer not to use the knife whips, as many could not master it.

aikido's nice for throws, but it's not cohesive enough to be blended properly with high-impact fighting styles.

This has no dart, and is a chain instead of a rope. But it has very similar usage.

within the distance that hits and a robber would be, i'd think there's a good chance you could pull the whip out of your pocket with your wallet and give him a good straight on hit with the sharp front point by throwing it forward. Of course depends on how experienced your robber is, if his gun is out thats the risk, if you don't know if he has a gun you could easily beat him too it long as it's one guy. It's usu ally better to just gigve them your money and let them go, even with your own gun

You are correct, but when robbed, soft weapon like chain whip will take time to charge, like roll it around your elbow or arm first a couple times, AND THEN you can throw the sharp bit straight

Its rare to see a video that teaches the chain whip. For the simple reason that it is extreamly diffciult and equally asdangerous ( to the attacker and the pratitioner) so it really requires a teacher. The rope dart is hard but a bit more suitable for learning by vids

@hippohome That's... kind of creepy to say, but i do think the same way as well. A world without guns would be a lot more prideful and well...i guess less civil. Weapons in general may seem cool but are only meant to take people's lives. yeah...the earning survival thing makes you sound very.....psychotic if i may put it like that. lol.
