  • Sam Adams!

  • no ed reed or terrelle suggs but boy this defense was good

  • Comment removed

  • I was born on super bowl 35. To bad it wasn't 34 or 36

  • When Ray did this dance I remember thinking the Giants have no chance in this game!

  • One of the best defenses and top 5 at least but the steel curtain, packers of 96, bears of 85, purple people eaters....there are a few more to rival this one...but no doubt, Ravens one a superbowl with their D and QB that did nothing to lose the game...just hand off to Jamaal Lewis and away they went beating teams 2-0 5-3 10-9...that was a real tough game....

  • Brian Bilick shoulda done the Ray Lewis dance when coming out

  • my favorite hurricane RAY LEWIS!!

  • Folks a defense like this don't grow on trees, GM Ozzie AKA the Wizard of Oz has shown his magic by making the greatest defense of all time. FACT: Fewest points allowed (167 points or 10.43 points per game) in NFL 16 game season and the stingest run defense ever by allowing less than 61 rush yards per game.

  • @Strikecourser 165 points allowed during the 2000 season, just to be official bro

  • Kim Herring - SS - Serviceable Safety

Rod Woodson - FS - Hall of Fame DB

Jaime Sharper - RLB - Playmaking LB also Older Brother of Future Hall of Fame Darren Sharper

Peter Boulware - LLB - Pro Bowl LB

Ray Lewis - MLB - Face of the Franchise and Greatest Defensive Field General

  • 2000 Ravens Starting Defense:

Tony Siragusa - RDT - 350+ lb Space Eater

Sam Adams - LDT - 350+ Pro Bowl Nose Tackle

Rob Burnett - LDE - Pro Bowl Pass Rusher at 10.5 Sacks

Michael McCrary - RDE -Pro Bowl Complimentary Push Rusher

Duane Starks - LCB - Playmaking CB with 6 interceptions

Chris McAlister - RCB - Pro Bowl Shutdown Corner

  • One thing about this team bothers me. It didn't at the time but it does now. Rod Woodson. Recent HOF inductee. I watched and waited as he thanked the steeler nation for there support. Thanking them for everything. As if he almost forgot that he got the ring on his finger in Baltimore, not Pittsburgh and he should have thanked the raven nation and given it up to that team for getting him that ring. Cuz if we didn't he would not be in the HOF yet. Eventually he would, but not yet.

  • Two Hurricanes and a Seminole. The Sunshine State runs the NFL

  • The Giants should have just went home. I have to admit, they took that beating like a "G".

  • dang they had the perfect players for the right system

  • The giants must've been scared to death watching this happen

  • cokehead l.t

  • That D had a lot of swag and honestly, that's the best D I've seen so far, that and the 06 Ravens D.

  • Man NY was not ready for what we were about to bring.

  • the only two defenses ever to play in the nfl are the '40s, 1985, and 2006 bears and the ravens.

  • You know what scares me about this defense so much? there is no where to pin point a weakness. The middle has an amazing linebacking core in Lewis, Sharper, and Boulware and Boulware can rush the edge. The middle has 700 lbs of beef right there plugging it up in the Goose and Adams, and there is no way you can go over their heads with Woodson back there. This defense is complete to the T. Ed Reed instead of Herring would have made it the thing of nightmares.

  • I'm a Giants fan and I knew it was over after seeing the Ravens defense come out.

There was just something about them.

I knew we would beat the Pats because a great in your face D always wins.

In this Super Bowl, the Ravens D was not going to be stopped.

    Ray Lewis was awesome.

The three best linebackers ever are Lewis, Butkus and LT.

    George Vreeland Hill

  • @GeorgeVreelandHill um no ill give u 5,

    1-Lawrence Taylor

    2-Junior Seau

    3-Derrick Thomas

    4-Mike Singletary

    5-Dick Butkus

  • @fastfoodrappa all thomas can do is rush and the only guy here on lewis level is singlytary

  • Could you imagine if Ed Reed was on that defense?

  • Ray lewis dance go hard it be trickin me out on madden to

  • @trillsavage1000 in madden. they watered it down. he doesnt move like himself and when he retires whoever take his spot does it...

  • there was no beating this defense. you could only win by making their offense beat themselves

  • @NYG5

You guys feast on "3 and outs" but if your dudes are kept on the field your gettin gassed.

To beat the Ravens, you keep their D on the field.

    short pass, run, short pass...

Raiders will beat you in our next post season meeting. see ya there in 2011

  • I have to say, I am a steelers fan, but when I see ray lewis on the feild...I'm like "Damn..the guy has alot of heart in this" and he does by the looks of it...seeing him play how he plays, how he PUMPS UP his team, EVERYTHING...make me want to do everything I do 100% or more at my shit I do, and I think alot of people can agree...Ray Lewis is a great motivater, and a very inspirational guy.

  • I'm a Giants fan, but the Ravens were awesome that game.

In fact, they were all year.

Teams had no chance against that D.

    George Vreeland Hill

  • ray lewis videos always get me pumped as hell

  • word

  • LOL gotta love ray lewis

  • add reed and suggs with that OMG!!!!!!!

  • he is the best im looking foward for him to get another ring next season

  • ø„¸¸„ø¤º°¨¸„ø¤º°¨

  • greatest defence ever?? dont kid your self

  • @nuggetsfan0115 first of all, it's defenSe (as seen on video) and 2nd of all, I think you could easily say that the 2000 Ravens are the greatest D of all time. A couple other defenses can certainly contend, but that squad is one of the best of all time.

  • @BARProductionsMusic i disagree i say the 70's steelers had the greatest defense iv ever seen

  • @nuggetsfan0115 They are one of the best defenses of all time as well. I think Baltimore because in 2000, offenses were expanded more. Through the pass and creativity. Also, that defense did not have any glaring weaknesses and were not only big and physical, but extremely aggressive and fast. Also, since 93, this has been the free agency era. It's so tough to assemble a D and keep them together, which is a part of why Pitt's D was dominant in the 70's. BAL could've been like that if not for FA.

  • Ray Lewis is the Kevin Garnett of football

  • imagine Ray Lewis, Troy Polamalu, James harrison, ed reed, derel revis and terrell owens on the same defense...

  • @jmcfar8947 terrell owens is a wide receiver not a corner back u dumb ass lol

  • @cheaner1 my bad, no need to be an ass about it that i got one guys position wrong >.<

  • @jmcfar8947 are u really that dumb. embarrasing. dont post on this again

  • @the99stingrays lmao sorry for getting one players position wrong asshole.

  • Rip the audio from this track at speedyconversion doht cohm.

  • lmao Trent Dilfer got a free ride and ring to the superbowl.

  • THE GOOOSE

  • that d was beastly just amazing

  • "Lets F'n Rock" damn I miss THE GOOOOOOOOOOOOSE

  • @Epic410 me too Epic! :) I will never forget in the AFC game when he sat on top of that poor Oakland Raiders player head during a play. Laughed my ass off to no end!!! XD

  • A defense that is top ranked almost every year since untill 2010 I don't think that any1 with the nerve to doubt that has any brain in their head don't hate congratulate! Btw if u want to argue about 70's steelers D and say that they were allowed full range in their hits how would that give any advantage to a current D with all this offensive protection BS? Also with new additions like the Tom Brady protection league... WTF???

  • Tony Siragusa---lets fuckin rock! what a character. Brought some comic relief to (along with great run stoppage) to this awesome defense. One of the best ever. Steelers in mid 70s maybe better, but not by much

  • 2:39 lmao the way he moves his head like a chicken lewis ftw

  • Sugga ray ray " this is a mans game boy!"

  • Dream team rite there!!

  • Not a single weak link on that D that season.

  • ummmm actulay its laurence talor you fuckin nigger

  • @wesizfresh LOL damn with all that racism. i can tell you get picked on alot in school huh lol.

  • Tough defense

  • He is the best defender ever.Go RAVENS!

  • jesse armstead was robbed!

  • GREATEST. DEFENSE. EVER.

  • @MaryKreisPanuska he's a murderer you dumb cunt

  • @charger619c Ray is a justice obstructor not a murderer

  • @zms155 damn, i always get those two mixed up

  • i guess whoever made this video never heard of the STEEL CURTAIN lol yes kids football didn't start in the year 2000 -- believe it or not

  • @daheat0627 I guess whoever you are, you're still hanging on the fact that the Steel Curtain of the '70s with their steroids, slower, less strong athletes both on the team and opposite still lacked when it came to stats in comparison to the 2000 Ravens. Didn't they also have a shorter schedule? I also think the Falcons later in that decade were better than the Steelers but oh... they weren't a big market team, much like the Ravens.

  • @shenghu ONLY RAVENS FANS THINK THE 2000 RAVENS DEFENSE WAS THE GREATEST---how could one year of anything be the greatest?? lmaoooo thats more like a flash in the pan if you ask me ---sure it was good ----and they won a championship because of it --- look what theyve done since then ---notta Football didnt start in the year 2000 ---thats free advice

  • @daheat0627 look up the steelers vs vikings superbowl back in the 70s -- the steelers only allowed something like 90 yards TOTAL offense (

in the superbowl) -- thats ridiculous considering that the "purple people eaters" were known for blowing teams out of the water. and that was back in the day where you were permitted to tackle people - and punish them for trying -- these soft rules nowadays have real football players laughing at the game

  • dude is roided up

  • some beefy niggas lol

  • i love how Siragusa just stares at the dude that holds him back

  • @nicklej5 i like it better when goose yells "lets fuckin rock!"

  • @nicklej5 ...I love how he curses twice on live TV...lol

  • @pwrofrob LMFAO!! I said the same thing!!!

I swear I can see him going to his mailbox a week later, looking through his letters, seeing one in particular and going "Federal Communications Commission?! I wonder what this could be about?!?!" LOL!!

  • Comment removed

  • 0:38 lets fuckin ride lol

  • Ray fucking Lewis!!!!!!!!

  • did number 98 say ill fuck your mom

  • @dylanwhaley87 lmfao

  • Your right Ray Lewis Is not a snitch he's a Monkey whoa whoa whoa

  • Ray Lewis "let's go!"

  • Video starts at 2:37

  • Ray Lewis gave testimony implicating two of his friends for a plea deal this guy is a fucking snitch will sombody in the hood take care of this savage

  • @neil7025 still on that "snitch" bullshit? wtf its 2010 not 1992. fuck outta here with that snitch bullshit. If 2 of your friends killed someone with u being a witness and having nothing to do with the plan of killing someone and you were faced with LIFE IN PRISON for not snitching and basically being an unknowing witness you're telling me that you wouldn't snitch? fuck outta here with that BULLSHIT.

  • The NFL will not be the same without Ray Lewis crushing somebody

  • I think the 85 Bears have the best defense ever. But the Ravens were very good that year.

  • @RECKLESSxINTENT we drafted Reed in 2002.

  • That was a great @#%ing defense ..... I met Sam Adams not to long ago and got a chance to talk about this Super-Bowl.... LOVE good defense in football....

  • ray lewis is the man!!!

  • NFL is shit but Ray Lewis is the most passionate player in America. Bless his soul baby!

  • ed reed> troy polumalu we dont need troy

  • if him and troy polumalu were on the same team theyd be unstoppable

  • @ash1joe ed reed is a better safety than polomalu..troy is a better linebacker than ed reed but they dont play LB do they?

  • LOL "SAM ADDAMS"

  • I'll always remember that dance

  • If you were to go to a dictionary and look up beast ray lewis there would be a picture of Ray Lewis knocking the crap out of a QB(Quarter-Back)

  • i thought they had ed reed this year

  • Yea we got alot of booo's from the crowd but we still got the job done and won the superbowl. With the weapons that we have this year with the Ravens, Its time for another championship

  • @stenton911 your so right with ray rice and boldin were goin to be invincable

  • Troy Smith > Joe Flacco

  • @MikeBrowne09 LOL you cant be serious...?

  • i agree with extinctbear if you lead the league in picks sacks least points scored and im assuming since its the raves most points scored by a defense then who cares that the titans gave up less yards i didnt see them winning the super bowl

  • Soccer players, even the best ones, are spoofters compared to these guys. They're wild beasts: rampaging, adrenalized gorillas ready to tear people apart. Yeah, soccer bores me.

  • I'm a Steeler fan but I gotta give Ray Lewis and the 2000 Ravens props for their hard ass D that year.

  • this is too classic

  • brian billick for defensive coordinator

  • No other championship defense compares to the 85' Bears defense

  • @TheBostonThreeParty1 only bears fans say that.

Number one is still the 2000 Ravens D

  • One more year before Ray calls it quits.

  • 0:37 "i Fucking Rock"

    hahahaha

  • Comment removed

  • @dafreshprinceyo damn it mine's funnier

  • @Advillll lol i think he says "let's fuckin rock" :D

  • I remember watching this, my first Super Bowl, at nearly eleven years old.

P.S.- ...is it sad that I can name the players who have these numbers on the present team 's roster?

  • Stats - Sats - Stats.. what a bunch of boneheads. The Best Defence is "fewest yards allowed" period. Add anything else to the mix and you are lying to yourself.

  • @JimAnthony3 fewest points allowed. That's what it all comes down to. I'd rather give up 80 yards and get an int instead of giving up 60 yards and a td

  • where is ed reed ??? o.O

  • @NayZ1989 lol Ed Reed was still in college at the time.

  • @ckeltuboff why did the when the SB when he wasnt there? thats kinda of a waste.

  • it was the 2000 ravens that were champs you retard. they had a great defense, but not the best ever. heck statistically they weren't even the best that year. titans were

  • Damn that defense was stacked!

  • @onebadassque "was stacked"!? now thhey are even more stacked DTs Adams & Saragusa were both 6'3" 345-350 Ngata and Mt Cody are borg 6'4" both 350+ (Cody currently 375lbs) with lewis still on top of his game and with reed in the backfield and terrell suggs and sergio kindle pass rushing could have a repeart 2000 season

  • @RandyFoxKiller no good cb though,

  • @RandyFoxKiller big and fat = good?

LOL you really are a clueless bastard

  • @DREwestcoast ur a clue less basterd u little shit head get somestats to back that up and u might not look like the '' clueless basterd'' that u r get ur facts straight dumbass. the ravens gave up 3,967 total yards. the bears gave up, in 85, 4,135total yards. bears points allowed 198. ravens points allowed 165. bears forced fumbles 9. ravens forced fumbles:19. so what now fag. its funny how u call randyfoxkiller a clueless basterd when u are a clueless basterd yourself. ravens pwn ass bitch.

  • @extinctbear let me know when stats mean will mean everything... maybe then your load of crap could be somewhat valid.. faggot ass

  • @DREwestcoast hey retard stats do mean everything ass hole its how people who are intelligent in the football area base thier statements asshole. statistically the ravens are the better team dumbfuck, not only did the ravens have a better defence but in an offensive era they faced better offense than in 1985. at least i know what im talking about and can back up my ''valid'' statements dumbass thats something you have failed to do. Ravens d pwns bears little pussy.

  • @extinctbear you really are a dumb motherfucker, I don't think it's worth the time, this is the last minute i'll be wasting trying to educate you stupid fuck

  • @DREwestcoast XD its kindof funny that ur making excuses to discontinue the conversation by calling me a dumb motherfucker you now i think ur just trying to make an excuse to leave. if im a dumb motherfucker why have i statistically made ''valid'' pionts when u failed not to.yeah unlike u ill give the bears some props they had a great defense. not as good as bmore. dumbass if im such a stupid fuck than ur the biggest dumbass in the world.u havnt tryd 2 educate me. ur just throwin out opinions

  • @DREwestcoast yeah okay ur not gonna waste ur time trying to educate me. yeah okay sure dumbass bear fan. panzee ur just a dummy lookin for an excuse. dumb bear fan i guess they dont teach people from chicago to think before they speak.

  • @DREwestcoast dont bother responding i have a life to get to unlike yourself

  • @DREwestcoast you fail at football u know nothing ''faggot ass'' the sad thing is you fail but you spend ur whole day iin ur mom and dads basement watching the bears get raped by the ravens and cutler the bumb throwing ints all day. get a life.

  • @extinctbear the bears had over 60 sacks compared to the ravens 35, that yard difference is almost insignificant, in 2000 the ravens had the second ranked defense behind the titans who statisticly where quite even.

  • @victor2775 thats true but may i point out that the 00 ravens set the record for least points allowed although the bears did do what u say they did 4 out of 5 time the 00 ravens have the advantage so overall id say the ravens are the better defense. about the titans being better in 2000 thats incorrect from what i know the ravens had 23 ints in comparison to tenns 17 ints. also from what i know the ravens had 35 sacks that year in comparison to tennessee's 27.

  • @RandyFoxKiller ed reed needs to stay healthy, the guy is amazing but always injured like bob sanders.....still don't think Ravens offense is good enough...

  • Ray Lewis may not be the greatest mike linebacker ever (although he definitely belongs in the conversation), he's by far my favorite. And who doesn't love that dance. I also couldn't call this the "Greatest Defense Ever", but again it's certainly one of the best (the '85 Bears are #1 if you ask me).

  • @saveusfrom1983 I really don't know but I think it was in the second half. Reason I say second half is because I remember that the Raiders were playing and maybe even leading at that point and when Gannon got hurt I felt the Ravens were going to win. Obviously they did.

  • Greatest day in my life! **1-28-01 34-7**

  • fuck Urlacher nigga!!!

  • Brian Urlacher is better? Did he win Superbowl MVP? Did he lead one of the best D in NFL history? I didn't think so

  • brian urlacher is better hands down

  • This definitely isn't the best defensive ever,

  • Every Giants fan should've known they had no chance the way the Ravens reacted to R. Lewis' dance

  • @trentbateman Maybe you're psychologically weak enough to be intimidated by a dance intended to imitate a heroin trip but not professional football players nor fans.

  • @Gemini700 34-7 giants played like a glorfied division 1 program. ray had them shaking in their thongs.

  • holy canole! even without Ed Reed that is still one scary D!

  • those first 2 guys were HUGE mother fuckers

  • All of you are wrong the 2008 lions had the best defense ever!!!

  • @American0wnage Agreed, Lions are the fucking kings,

  • you want to see good highlights search for Armando Ferreira

  • This defense along with the 85 bears were the best defenses of all-time. Does anyone know at one point in the game and what score did siragusa take out gannon in the afc playoffs?

  • greatest defense ever

  • Greatest defense ever? You mean his legal defense?

  • f%&K what you heard, hater.

Devestating...and a joy to watch on the field.

Try 100,000 dead iraqi civilians, some of whom were children. Great defense....and Im not a Ravens fan, either.

  • @davelister2005 So if one of your friends killed someone you should get thrown in jail, eh?

  • Ray gon' slap you

  • one of the best defensive squads ever put together

  • I beleive that they should announce the rosters in the superbowl like they used to! It was cool in superbowl 36 when the Patriots came out together because it was the year of the 9-11 attacks, so it symbolized an american sprit and they were the underdogs. I think is lame now!! I know I'm not the only one who misses the starters announced between both conferences. They deserve top treatment for being the last 2 teams left in the season!!

  • Greatest SUPERBOWL INTRO EVER! AND HE BALLED OUT!
