  • How does Taunting Elf work? Does it have to block everytime or is it only whenever you attack with it?

  • @sadpenguinfilms Whenever the Elf attacks, all of the opposing creatures have to block it. This would be used so that if your opponent has a bunch of creatures on the board they have to block the one elf and it allows for you to attack for damage with the rest of your creatures. Since it is an elf deck, the odds are that you are going to have a lot of other creatures on the board to attack with.

  • Both decks are confused !!!!

  • I'm gonna go against the grain and say I'm not a big fan of full pic lands. They feel... weird. They don't match anything else. Like having alpha land in standard. (which you should do, because real men use alpha land.)

  • @SnazBrigade I also hate planescockers.

  • wow... who thinks the control player is retarded?? he had all the mana in the world but didn't use any of the cards in his hand, and everytime he drew he had to look at his hand again... it's like he doesn't remember what he has from 5 seconds ago.

  • Painful to watch

  • Hey what kind of sleeves are they using and what kind of sleeves would you recommend?

  • ahhh.. when the green mage shuffles his deck it sends chills down my spine.. those precious cards

  • (Dislikes and exits the video as soon as i see hand fidgeting)

  • Jace should be ashamed to be under control of that guy.

  • i watched this to see if he learned the u/b black player apparently not if someone is mana screwed you fateseal ugh it urks me

  • Wait, so you can declare attacks on Planeswalkers? Are they the only card that you can specifically choose to attack? I thought defenders got to choose who blocks and if they want to block at all.

  • @Mikeyondadrums If its your turn you can declare your attackers. You can either swing at your opponent or their planeswalker(s) if they have any. Then they choose their blockers. If they have another creature that can block yours, they can even do that to protect there planeswalker. Im sure you know by now though.

  • was a poor u/b control deck. im sorry but I personally do not even consider that control. Control should be game lock down and it would have happened alot sooner.

I run a mono blue Stasis deck.

  • Is it just me or does the guy on the left have ridiculously long index fingers?

  • Wait when he played the fauna shaman to bring back the vengevine how did he do that? the first vengevine he played that turn got countered and never resolved right?

  • @MUHLOSS Vengevine returns when you cast your second creature of the turn.

  • @KlotzProductions but the first vengevine never resolved so he didn't actually cast it right?

  • @abaseball61 Incorrect... as soon as you "cast" a spell it goes on the stack and waits to resolve. It doesn't go straight into play.

  • You know the UB player is horrible when he Preordained at the get go on Turn 2 and put both cards in his hand...

  • at around 11 minutes 'OMG THERES A WOMEN STANDING NEXT TO ME!'

    I lol'd hard

  • No Grave Titan??

  • whats the paper for? new to the game

  • @multicix to keep track of life.

  • @KlotzProductions who keeps track on paper?! Apps/dice ftw

  • @KlotzProductions I use the app Magic L.C. (life counter). it's pretty handy. There's a dice roll feature, a coin flip, and it monitors poison and commander counters.

  • The UB player should've Fatesealed when the Elf dude stumbled on lands. -_- Jesus.

  • @daryldeveyra Good decks with bad players!

  • the u/b player needs practice

  • that u/b player seemed a little mad imo...

  • I bet he wished he had a grave titan in that situation.

  • You know the UB player is terrible the moment he brainstormed when he played jace.

  • Wow. The game was over when he first resolved jace and he just did every possible terrible play to make himself lose.... Worst control player ive ever seen...

Why bounce Copperhorn Scout? Just brainstorm...

Why not Mana Leak the Sylvan Ranger when Vengevine is the only relevant threat and hes stuck on lands...

Why Into the Roil your own jace instead of brainstorming for more value and bouncing attackers....

    Why bounce Vengevine with Jace?

  • @pascal30177 Why bounce copperhorn? because sub vigilance suck. Why not leak the ranger? I agree, he was obviously mana fucked why help him. Why into the roil your own jace? Because he got card draw and a 3 counter jace again. it wasn't a bad play at all. Why bounce vengvine with jace? Good question. I feel dirty the very few times I've done it, but sometimes making them pay 4 next turn for the veng is a hell of a lot better than letting them resolve ezuri or garruk.

  • @pascal30177 Well Jace can be targeted just like a player and he had nothing to block with, so he wasn't blocking the Vengevine he had to take the damage. As for the others, they are good points :P

  • Terrible players are terrible.

  • o and then he flashfreezes it, mana leak was a hard counter on this point because he didnt have 3 mana left

  • lol why did he cast jace, i should have cast frost titan to keep his vengevine tapped. not bounce it

  • Hey boy was invented MULLIGAN ... How do you play a deck control with a single EARTH! O.o

  • Hahhaha, Phone rings, "WHAT? Did you need something? I'm in a match, I'll be there soon I'm sorry." "Friends are faggots, anyway"

  • The elf player missed bringing back a vengevine, when he cast vengevine and scout in same turn

  • @Technofunk666 When?... I see him bring it back both turns. The other one got exiled from Mindbreak Trap.

  • @KlotzProductions During turn 10 11 12

  • @FastSilverTc What time?

  • @Technofunk666 No he didn't. When he casted his 1st Vengevine it was countered with Mindbreak Trap, which allows the caster to exile as many spells on the stack as he wishes.... the 1st was exiled.

  • wow its been over a month or so since ive played mtg i guess cosplay and schoolwork made me leave mtg for a while :( btw great game guys!

  • I have seen better control decks on sale at Wal-Mart.

  • @TheKSE1 my thoughts exactly! Though I think a few preordains, or something to help him draw would help a lot, if he would have had a few more cards in his hand, he may have been able to win.

  • Somehow, I am compelled to know the U/B control decklist. It looks kinda interesting.

  • Another top video, the elves player kicked ass. I have to say the U/B player made alot of mistakes, I thought his early game was terrible. Was that the FNM final ?

  • Hey Klotz

Thanks for all your uploads. Your channel only recently came to my attention and as a MTG fan it was an instant subscribe.

    A little request:

In your full gameplay videos could it be possible to include the players life total? Or would that be too much of a hassle and be saved for the highlight videos?

  • @Kaffelop Currently it is only for the highlights version because it is a bit of extra work. I am considering putting big 20 sided dice next to the camera and keeping life totals during the matches so that people can see what the life is. But for now I am not digitally adding it. If at some point these videos become a career for me I might add digital life totals then,

  • @KlotzProductions

Ok fair enough. Keep up the good work :)

  • @KlotzProductions That would be very nice... ;D

  • It would be great if you could also edit the video with the life totals in the corners, would make it much easier to follow.

  • shoulda first cast titan, then jace.

monoG doesn't have removal for titan, so jace would've been protected by it.

Also, he kinda wasted his mana leaks... :/

  • WHOA THERE'S A FEMALE NEXT TO ME! lol 10:47

  • WHOA THERE'S A FEMALE NEXT TO ME! lol

  • why doesn't the elves guy call the u/b player out for slow play?

  • @sakonhagakure Because he was on the phone.... he actually didn't want to be but the person kept calling. If you couldn't tell he was frustrated when he picked up the phone.

  • @sakonhagakure Other than that, I think he just takes a while to think through his options and make his decision. He isn't a real fast MTG player.

  • @sakonhagakure Good players think over all the options they have. I did'nt see any case of slow play.

  • @sakonhagakure

When you play control, you actually have to think.

  • @EvilSwordProductions

Really!?!I didn't know that thanks. I always figured if you play preordain turn 1 (something which you should never do) and you see 2 lands and you have a hand full of lands some removal, and a jace and a few lands that it was a no brainer.

  • @sakonhagakure I know you made this comment a looong time ago lol, but you have to take like a 3 minute turn to be punished for slow play

  • u/b is irritating as fuck, play already!

  • @pbisbad

"IF HE DOESN'T RUSH AND DROP HIS HAND AND MAKE ALL BAD PLAYS THEN HE IS A BAD PLAYER AND I DON'T LEIK HIM" Hurp.

  • Love Mindbreak Trap

  • Elf player missed brining back a vengevine =(

  • the guy on the left is very conservative for an elf player.

  • whos that talking on the phone? other than that thanks man for posting these videos im sure im not the only one who enjoys em!

  • @zenex57 I don't know who is on the other end but Scott (the one talking) seemed upset they were calling.
