The new Mars probe will be shot down in 2012 yet again, just like the previous one was. The fact remains, the probe detected both some thing like a city and also a 19 km long object launching off Mars's surface. Why have so many probes been lost at Mars? Technical failure? Or remnants of some other species that used to live there. Time will tell, and since disclosure is already in process, we are all about to be in for a HUGE surprise....

Sarah, you do know that several US space probes have been either "lost" or destroyed at Mars? In deed, Mars is the planet which has claimed more Soviet and US probes than any other planet. That may very well be an indication that some thing truly did or still does reside on Mars. The fact remains; a certain object was caught moving away from the surface of Mars. It was 19 miles long. And it killed the Phobos 2 probe. What is even wierder is that the probe detected a 'city' on Mars's surface.

You are correct of course, but despite the fact that probe's success does not matter in the long run. Consider, exampli gratia, how air defense is set on Earth. A nation will ordinarily establish defenses near key installations and cities, but not in sparsely populated areas such as deserts. The same goes for Mars, which mostly is a gigantic desert. Remember; Phobos 2 detected a city-like pattern emitting a heat source before it was destroyed. It may in fact have activated an automated defense.

i dont think most people know this but...its not just earth that holds life. our solar system holds different types of life in varying stages for example bacteria to intelligent life. i believe mars holds intelligent life that has resorted to life underground after some event burned out their atmosphere. if they 're shooting stuff down that means they have had violent encounters in their history and have a certain response for such encounters. sounds like a no fly zone was invaded

It is highly suspect that we have an excellent track record in losing devices we send there. I've often doubted that 'professionals' would get their calculations 'slightly' out when so much money and intel was riding on the mission. The calculations would have been checked, double checked and triple checked and then checked again by someone else... NASA doesn't make mistakes. But it does cover up disasters.

Hehehe, really? At first heat sources are detected associated with city-like structures. Then shadows and pictures of elliptical spaceships are detected near Phobos, a moon which has always been considered strange by astronomers. Thirdly, the probe fails to communicate and then promptly blows up. Does anyone truly desire a sensible explanation? It was a fucking extraterrestrial intelligence and nothing else.
