I cancelled my one dvd at a time and just kept streaming. I cancelled directv about a year ago and was using netflix to watch tv programs and movies. Now I'm considering switching to blockbuster. I'm not sure they offer streaming, though. I'm so tired of the netflix changes. The price went up but the quality didn't.
@thalonelygirl I definitely agree with you. I did the same thing you did. And I considered switching to blockbuster too, but when I did the research I found out you can't do their new streaming + DVD plan (yes they're offering both) unless you have a Dish Network service. So yea watch out for that; sadly it may be worse than Netflix
I wouldn't mind a price increase if Netflix would put more effort in improving their selection of streaming movies, its the future. Like everone else, I got that pathetic email from Reed Hastings, which basically said sorry, but not real sorry. And the Netflixpublications video him and knucklehead made added fuel to the fire. Im still hangin in, not canceled, only cause I want to see if there are improvements. Don't want Qwikster. They could also add 5.1 digital audio for my surround sound.
@musclecarluvr1 Yea I feel you man. I still kept netflix even though Reed Hastings deserved to lose the majority of his customers, however I only kept the "instant" streaming (something else they need to fix). Screw Qwikster (the name is ironically shitty anyways).
I still have Netflix and I use that for old school shows I use to watch when I was younger but as far as newer DVDs are concerned I'll just got to red box and pay a dollar for the DVD want to watch
@chipobelladragon lol, that's fine in your scenario then, but the change is affecting everyone concerned with the DVD queue, and technology/newer releases side of things.
There is a myth in this country that CEO's know what they're doing. Most don't. They look at their personal bottom line and screw the public. What about HP? Three CEO's in 6 years?
@Bivolari lol, that's the truth. A CEO is just somebody a company pays to do a good job, but their qualifications don't always guarantee they will do a good job.
