Totally agree about the money factor, I wonder if we all would have had a different reaction if the bonuses (like Dr. Hall's $600,000) had been turned around and spent on tutor's or additional teaching materials. Imagine the difference.. "School cheats, uses all bonus funds for students". It was cheating... our nation is becoming okay with cheating of all kinds. It's not just in Atlanta. It's all over this nation. I know. I'm a retired teacher who didn't teach in Atlanta. I taught in another states. I retired after 30 yrs. I loved teaching but could see the corruption going on, and my conscience would not let me continue. I knew my students well and knew which ones were capable of passing "the" test and which ones weren't. Getting results back with 100% of my students passing "the" test, puzzled me.

Children need to be educated properly. The cheating scandal in Atlanta is unacceptable. Atlanta could suffer the same fate as Detroit with many crimininal peoples and ghettoness. Proper education is the best route. "Ask" not "Ax"...no ebonics in schools!

Up until now, all of them have been white. What is that saying? We are ALL created equal...
