  • this is good

  • @diphaus82 I literally totally understand the way you feel

  • grateful dead house mix?!? it truly is the end times but I love it anyhow haha

  • this blows so hard

  • Perfect!

  • this is just perfect.

  • kipplekeeper is probaly using socratic irony!!!!??

  • What did you expect... another awesome track from the genius.

  • good music :)))

  • more ableton live bullshit

  • @kipplekeeper

WTF are you talking about. All the synths and bass and are probably audio recordings from analouge/old school synths. The drums could all be from drum machines too, I'm not sure. None of the sounds are normal ones and to be fair if you have good drum machines and synths it doesn't matter what program you use.

  • @felixdadeathcat are you deaf? there's only SAMPLED drum LOOPS, guitar LOOPS and vocal LOOPS in this track. The only synth is that shitty pad at 3:40, although I am reluctant to even call it a "pad" because it's just a fucking chord (with no changing timbre or anything - way too static sounding). And I don't even think that's a synth, sounds more like the tail end of an instrument that is looped.

stop trying to use big words when you don't even know what any of them fucking sound like.

  • @kipplekeeper LOL noob!!!!!!! synths appears since the beginning of the song....

  • @yoniniox haha, you call me a noob and you call a stretched out organ a synth? i suppose technically an organ could be considered a synth, but that sound is in no way a synthesizer. grow a pair of ears, asshole.

i am really enjoying all these idiotic comments in defense of this so-called musician. he's just using sampled loops - get over it.

  • @kipplekeeper NOOB !!!! a synth is a pair of oscillator who can produce some sawtooth, square or SINUS WAVE..... and YES, Concretly, a synth set up with sinus wave can make an organ....

and for "samples loop" criticism, music genre like Rap/hip hop never comes out if sampler doesnt exist.....( and samples too)

  • @yoniniox 1) it's a sine wave. A sinus is where snot comes from. 2) a synth is not "a pair of oscillator" - do you think if something only uses one osc it's not a synth? you clearly never used one 3) we aren't talking about rap here, we are talking about a douchebag electronic producer/dj who thinks he's a god damn genius. 4), you forgot triangle waves. 5) sine waves have no harmonics, so please expl how to make an organ sound with "sinus" waves (I know the answer, I am just testing you)

  • @kipplekeeper LOL NOOB... your are pathetic...you think your are my teacher??? .... since the beginning, yours ears told to your mouth to say that there is just one synth at 3 min of the song and now you admit that there is another synth??!!! go mayhem yourself..

    And i don't believe jaar thinks he's a fucking genius.... it 's YOU !!!!

  • @yoniniox wow, you have serious comprehension issues. are you trying to sound stupid just to antagonize me? nowhere did i say that. and my point is an organ is generally not considered a synth, and ANYWAY he's using a stretched out sample in ableton which takes oh so much skill to do. you have absolutely no knowledge as to what a synthesizer is do you? you can not make an organ sound with subtractive synthesis. that was my test; and boy do i feel sorry for any actual teacher of yours...

  • @kipplekeeper your a biiig unbrain people in what u do and what u think ..... im not a fucking narrow- minded like you, im a fucking french people who love different sounds... and u are living in a false world my dear, a substractive synthesis (like Moog) CAN make an organ-like ... u take pure tone (sinus wave) couple with a low pass filter well configured....... go read Synth Secrets By Gordon Reid

  • @yoniniox wow, thanks for proving my point, that you really have no idea what you are talking about. a sine wave is indeed a "pure tone" as in it has NO HARMONICS- only the FUNDAMENTAL. a low pass filter REMOVES HARMONICS. Adding a low pass filter to a sine wave does NOTHING (and definitely does not ADD harmonics like what is needed for an "organ" sound), until the cutoff is below the frequency of the sine wave, at which point you won't hear anything anymore. No really, thanks for making my day.

  • @kipplekeeper LOL you're all right , IF you play organ-like, just with ONE finger.....

But if you play Organ with more than ONE FINGER..... harmonics will come from your other fingers (and maybe u will need a well filter configured....)

And stop denigrate the power of pure tones (and organ synth pad).... thanks to sinus waves and their combinations, we can synthesize all other kind of waves (square wave, etc.) and much more complex waveforms.. Merci Joseph Fourier! (and FM synthesis too)

  • @kipplekeeper . Just send us a link to your productions Mr. kipplekeeper and we

    will see

  • @kipplekeeper and yes i m trying to be stupid, to be at the same level of yours bullshits.....

Anyway, you must be lost in yours thoughts: RA classify Jaar like the second best performers of 2010...

try to not read RA now..... (it will be my last post for you..... big love kipplekeeper see u in hell ...)

  • @felixdadeathcat oh, and it's fucking spelled "analog" or "analogue" if you are british. you call spell it that way if you want took look like a jack-ass. if so, mission accomplished. don't try to spell it "analogue" to look cool or intelligent, ok?

  • @kipplekeeper

You're arguement would be more valid if you made any sense and didn't contradict yourself tbh. And I meant his stuff in general and the wolf and lamb and soul clap stuff, not just this song, I was just shocked that someone would hate on him so much. Not quite sure what you are on about with your analouge arguement, and yes I am British. I can see a Roland SH101 in this shot and a beat machine.

  • @felixdadeathcat iv also seen a fela kuti vinyl! Respect for that.

  • Would you like to show anything of yours that you think is better? And in terms of the ableton thing, the application of technology is what's important, not what is used. For example the amount of presets I've found that some of my favourite producers have used is crazy.

  • @kipplekeeper if you don't like it shut up and gtfo

  • @kipplekeeper only thing you stated with this comment is that you don't know much about neither Nico nor producing music

  • @larusso83 he just samples crap and plays a bunch of loops in ableton live, and starts out a live set with a really shitty "piano solo" that lasts about 30 seconds. he's not very good.

i like electronic music for good sound design and tasteful use of synthesizers. there is not a single synth on this track, as it only consists of sampled drum loops, guitar loops, and some stupid vocal loops.

the arrangement also makes no sense.

stop pretending you know anything about music, and go read RA.

  • @kipplekeeper SAID: "stop pretending you know anything about music, and go read RA."

Yes, everybody read RA.... and who are the second best performer of RA Poll: Top 10 live acts of 2010???.................. Nico Jaar

go kill yourself know....it's the best for you...........

  • @yoniniox look up sarcasm in the dictionary. you should invest in one of those.
