Sounds like sneezing also,but you're right. The loud sound wakes up the VOX operated intercom to allow talking. If you don't the first word you say will be left out..

I always like using paper maps when available. Good skill to have, but a digital map/GPS is always handy as a backup. Look like some cool videos shall be emerging!

That;s why you have troubles navigating with map.

I had trubles too, but he technique is to take your time and know your route, even on map. Now it is fuzzy, but once you go over a terrain you biked on, with a plane, or an ultralight, it will all be crystal clear.
