When he got hurt he said he didn't feel like he got any support from the WWE since he had to perform through his injury and when he had to stop and the checks stopped coming he took some downtime and ended up focusing on MMA cause he really is a monster of power. This is the first time anyone in the mainstream saw the F5, and Maven took that sold that move phenomenally. He just went all out and just took the full brunt of that move and it really contributed in making Lesnar an instant star, and the F5 a visually devastating move.
